Upon a second reading, the one thing is that his State University employer seems more secular than the School of Faith and Patience.[]Saúl Cicerón, Professor for theoretical physics at the State University
What qualifications does he have that a dean doesn't? More recent classroom instruction experience?
Considering the technology and relative time period, I smell something much closer to a very specific project that, IOTL, happened in the New Mexico desert.
Well, I suspect he was intended for if you wanted to add someone who actively specialized in theoretical physics while still potentially having the ability to herd physicists. IIRC, being in charge of the science department at a school doesn't mean you yourself know a very large amount about any given subject in that fairly broad field. Even narrowing it down to physics, that's still a lot to keep track of.Upon a second reading, the one thing is that his State University employer seems more secular than the School of Faith and Patience.
That's not enough for me to prefer the professor, though. We're here to develop weapons, not to elevate a secular ideology, and even if one were to argue that religion mildly impaired one's ability to comprehend physics, the physics were not the prime reason I picked him.
But consider all this as you will.
This is a crappy way to make a decision but what are you going to do?

Same SACQ planet. Just Somewhere a bit out of the way. Also, is this set in the actual SACQ universe, or is it separate?
Well, we just threw a bunch of things together. You're somewhere off in the colonies so that whatever I do doesn't conflict with what the other two are doing. I rolled Latin America when picking the region analogue, but you also got the Ajawate (AKA a Sultanate) as your previous government. So where exactly are we? The name itself makes me think of Greece and the Mediterranean, the character names seem mostly Spanish, and the situation of the country and the names of the rulers makes me think of the Middle East, Iran or somewhere similar.

@Winged_One² like so, with "divide votes by line".Also I need to learn how to make it do an individual-item tally, though the next board vote is probably a bit away.
And it shows that I messed up my manual counting. So, here's a test tally so I can verify results for myself, and also to verify that this works fully.
