One thing I love about this quest is how the options are always worth debating over. It's never so that one is clearly superior or more in-character.

Efficiency over networking is the path forward for the realm; we should model this. We can always refer the Princess to Owasu when explaining how we came by this information.

As the update mentions, it's very plausible doing this will be more time efficient anyways- Owasu has a lot of expertise with this kind of thing.

Not particularly.

Friendship is its own reward, not something you should be commended for. It's like getting a thank you for not kicking a puppy across the street, it really shouldn't be neccesary.

Now, uncovering an incoming invasion? That is something where the recognition actually means something.
 
With Owusu, there is sort of the implication of... Advancement for Amani on the table. The princess has made no such intimations in part because you've barely ever spoken to her.

It's not something to rule out entirely, however. She got Andre promoted despite Andre being considered to have completely peaked in her career. You're relying on J6 as a go between as well, and J6 does not have, shall we say, the world's highest charisma stat.

Essentially there's potential in it either way.
