I feel like probably there are no safe options here, so I think trying to find them is likely to backfire. That said, I don't want to paint a bigger target on our love interest's back, but I kind of want to keep the accidental deception going on here for story reasons, and the only other one that seems like something we could let slip without giving away the game is:

...well, at least the consequences of that one are fairly obvious.
