Provided they aren't idiots they won't blow their cover that easily. Especially when it quite clearly risks the loyalty of one of their own members (who will most likely try to save her sister from the conditioning of their treacherous mother).I want to see this blow up in our faces as we have to fight off our sister's less than friendly compatriots if/when they realize we're part of the enemy military.
Isn't Mosi the Holy Empire operative who's sneaking onboard the station? Or have I just severely lost track of who's who? What if Mosi did come in with smugglers? Telling anyone at all could get Mosi in serious trouble, unless she gets (or already has) some kind of temporary refugee status. And she's traveled so far, just to get out of the Holy Empire...
From our main character's In Character perspective. She doesn't know that, so this is what she'd think about her sister.Isn't Mosi the Holy Empire operative who's sneaking onboard the station? Or have I just severely lost track of who's who?
From an 'In Character' perspective we can't be 100% sure it is Mosi. We're currently in the middle of doing some extra-sneaky stuff for our maybe-girlfriend's spy friend; who has been sort of extra paranoid about all of this, so our thought-to-be dead sister calling us out of the blue just after we got talking with J6 (who is the product of some super skeevy, definitely not entirely aboveboard, science experiments) should induce some serious paranoia. There is something weird afoot, and telling no one is a non-starter I think in the moment. We need someone to tell us whether we're going insane or not.I'm kind of torn between telling Anja and not telling anyone. Trying to think about it from Amani's perspective, and what makes for an interesting story.
So. Best Friend. Obvious choice.
But, is it right to call her up to tell her your dead sister is actually alive, when she just lost her adoptive brother? Would she appreciate the chance to hear about someone else regaining family, or would that just make her feel worse?

I think I'm leaning towards not telling anyone. People have repeatedly told Amani to stop telling them things, stop doing things, stop rocking the boat so much. And even though she was quite right about a lot of it (uhh, just forget that whole Lord Secretary business), if any situation would require absolute secrecy, this would be it; otherwise her sister could be in danger. Smugglers can be pretty ruthless if they're feeling exposed. It's true, I saw it on TV. Mr T was there.
Although... the smuggler angle does make telling J6 feel considerably less hazardous. She approved of using Faiza's "nonstandard" repairs back on the Rose. It's a stretch, but she does seem to have some understanding of thinking outside the box, possibly in a less than fully legal manner. And it's another habitat like what she's in now, so it's not like we're telling her we're going somewhere deadly to her (that would be a real jerk move).
... Darn. Torn three ways, now.
North.....our North is still in the sundress, we have that brief window of opportunity before our bearing pings us as Navy.[X] You don't tell anyone yet.
