[X] Approach the Sororitas. The Order of the Argent Shroud are here in some number, and represent some of the finest and most pious warriors to be found in this entire Sector. Speak with them, and sway them to your cause.

[X] Muster the Clergy. You are Cardinal of this world, and within the priesthood your authority is beyond question. Summon the other priests and holy men on this world to your side, that you might lay the foundation for your future success.

Wait a second.

Socialise ●●● (Politicking ●)

Clergy is probably Socialize/Politicking.
Sororitas is, what, Presence?
Muster the Flock is most likely Performance/Oratory check. We are way better at it.

Something To Aspire To

Now I'll grant you that Ignatius is unlikely to spend a great deal of time investing in the Athletics ability and it's related charms, but that's more or less exactly what an Athletics-focused Solar looks like.

Kill Six Billion Demons is incredible Exalted inspiration in general, really, and I recommend everyone check it out.

Ignatius leans more towards the Mother Om style of things if he follows his favoured abilities, though Solomon is also a decent guideline. Occult is where the sorcery tree lies (extending up to 'alter the metaphysics of the cosmos' if you're feeling particularly ambitious), Lore is the 'fuck you Eye of Terror this is a beach resort now' tree, War is the 'every man a Space Marine' line...

And then, of course, there's Bureaucracy, which has among its more advanced charms 'you optimize an organization until it is such a perfectly efficient engine of state that Chaos is physically repelled from the lands under its dominion'.

Nah. Persuading people can usually be done with either performance or presence. It's not that specific. Skills are broad.

Thanks.
I just thought that Performance is more about, well, performing in front of audience, presence about one-of-one conversations, and socialize is about mingling and making contacts and all other high society stuff. But my Exalted knowledge is pretty much all from SV, so yeah.

And then, of course, there's Bureaucracy, which has among its more advanced charms 'you optimize an organization until it is such a perfectly efficient engine of state that Chaos is physically repelled from the lands under its dominion'.

do want

"efficient administratum" sounds like a challenge fit for Exalted

Now that sounds lovely. I'm sure Papa Smurf would appreciate it if/when we get him up and walking.

Oh yeah, that's something else we need to do, invest in Medicine/Lore Charms, and cure the Big Blue of his chronic case of 'Almost Dead'.

Bureaucracy charms also cover economics last I checked.

actuall come to think, Lore + Bur + Occult = world protecting Exalted wards. Much better than mere hexagrammic wards. Def something to aspire to.

I mean, even without solar Arete, the Dragonblooded of the shogunate created a stabilizing anti-Wild ward out of a treasury bond program.

We're gonna be so fucking swole that we'll have sororitas banging at our door.

Let me know if I'm about right on this being a good plan.

First Bureaucracy because the entire system is fucked on every level, then to get us the Rep not to be fucked with we do Lore so we can land on a planet and world engine that shit. We already seem to have training and skill in Melee so focus on that for personal protection, War because mother fuckers gotta hate. Lastly the five or one or how your going to do it for building shit to get the toaster fuckers in line to kiss our ass.

As for the Sororitas why can't it be both? ;)

Begging to be taught the divine secrets that allow one to become so magnificently jacked, presumably.

I mean, these are Sororitas we're talking about...
I'm sure a Solar PC has had an entire monastic order devoted to the specific task of carrying their hero-babies at some point.

They are sworn to the Emperor. Theologically, it wouldn't be consistent.

Well we have part of the Emperor inside us, through us I'm sure they'd enjoy part of the Emperor inside them as well. :D

More seriously Half Castes are a thing and when it comes out that our children are basically demi gods women are going to be lining up around the block for all sorts of reasons.

Half-castes are pretty much one of the most disliked concepts in Exalted, IIRC; I wouldn't be surprised if they are not really a thing in this, or very reduced in power, in comparison to their "Basically Solars locked at E3" second edition power levels.

Half-Castes aren't a thing in third edition, which is where a lot of the mechanics are coming from.

At best, a child of a Solar is going to get an innate Thaumaturgical Ritual that does something neato, but that's it.
