No one knows we are a bio tinker who is capable of using our own blood as materials yet, do they?
There is a big difference between an amnesiac parahuman and a parahuman who doesn't even consider non-parahumans to be real. I'd also rather be seen as an amnesiac with E88 leanings than one who doesn't consider non-parahumans to be real. They already know we are a parahuman with mental issues, defining People as someone with powers wouldn't do much.
She has shown herself to have mental issues severe enough that the hospital and the PRT think she needs a caretaker. Her being detached enough to think that people she doesn't remember, like her Dad, and that her power doesn't tag as actually there, aka Parahuman, aren't real isn't that much of a stretch. It would also raise less questions than an amnesiac who somehow kept a learned behavior like racism. There is a big difference between an amnesiac parahuman and a parahuman who doesn't even consider non-parahumans to be real. I can't recall any stories that really show this kind of mentality, though 'A Prison of Glass' over on SB is close (it's canon character / not instead of parahuman / not).
Also Parahumans on a whole show a great disregard for non powered people. It's almost never outright stated, but if you look almost every parahuman acts like they are more important than unpowered people.
That probably ties into it, but it's also the kind of Parahuman bias the PRT would know about and more readily accept than jumping to the conclusion that she is a racist.I feel like that may just be a byproduct of "humans + power", parahuman power or otherwise...
is closer in intent to[X] You don't need a caretaker. If you've forgotten anything important, you can learn it the first time you're shown. A few days with "Dad" should be enough for that.
than[x] You could MAKE a caretaker. He doesn't need to hire someone for that.
I will be combining the first two for the purposes of beating "Ignoring medical advice..."[X] Ignoring medical advice is a bad idea; agree to have help care for Host.
-[X] Insist you be allowed to help choose, you wouldn't want a caretaker who isn't a real person.
