But let's also remember that Diligent pushed us toward getting our Necromancer powers, which will be extremely useful for a lot of things.

Until some plateau happens and he burns out due to not improving fast enough for his own standards. A Spoiled Proc can be different from just burning out I suspect.

Well, I guess a 14 vote gap is a bit better? It isn't looking hopeful, though. However, I shall continue to argue so long as my arguments stand a chance at victory, so I guess my behavior won't change until the gap is wide and my vote is actually useful when applied elsewhere, which will seemingly be a while off. (Also, this vote tally is terrible to manage. Is this something other votes have had, or is this one uniquely bad?)

You know, while "Open the Way" is in the lead with votes I'm honestly confused on what it does. I think it lets Nameless enter the Overgrowth and Cultivate the Beasts within - therefore getting strong enough to beat the Fates and Zang Kong. But why is it named "Open the Way"? Does it leave a permanent portal from the Overgrowth to the outside world?

Yeah, Occam's Razor is really kickin' our asses right now.
The sad part is that it's a really humble, straightforward position. Necromancy and True Incarnation are both super exploitable. I just... think we don't have solid plans for what to do with them going forward.
The Fated Love immunity is nice, certainly valuable, but I don't think it's impossible to work around not having. True Incarnation's real payoff is that we get extra truespell capacity. But what do we get out of that if we just want to stack cultivation? We only need T. Elder Beast and T. Amplification for that. Necromancy is even harder to exploit, since we're still sub-novice in its use and have no experience with titanic ability.
Our Overgrowth Vampire plan is pretty good, but it's hardly perfect. It's on enemy territory. It depends on skills we can't ensure we'll have. It risks waking up Zang before we're ready.
I'm not sure we can do better, but we can at least try.
Nah, I'm happy to let the vote fall as they may (though I may call in my outstanding marker, if I actually think it might matter). If people honestly prefer something they should vote for it, and the fact that I have a somewhat stronger preference shouldn't really mean my vote should be more significant, except in that I argue stronger. Vote trading has all sorts of risks, and while I'm happy to offer my vote for sale at some points (because obviously I won't do anything wrong, that would be silly of me), especially when I don't have a strong opinion, I'm happy to assume that people are voting for some reason, even if I can't see it. In other words, votes are actually a relatively good system for determining what people want, and biasing the system seems like a good way to not figure out what people want as well.
One thing I think it is important to remember that people seem to be forgetting is that Try to Change may fail and even if you work Rihaku already us said for not expect results as early as 1-2 years.
Besides, I'm not the only one who finds it strange that people seem consider Spoiled an interesting character trait or something cool despite Rihaku said that Spoiled is a Heroic Passion that only has disadvantages.

We should. We currently have enough power to do pretty much anything we want. We shouldn't let the empire get damaged. Come on, lets rescue millions of lives. Elf waifu would want us to do it.

Open the Way, True - The caster rends open a gate to any spatial coordinate within the material or celestial realms, or to another realm of which he is well-informed.
It probably don't last forever, but it has way greater capacity, range, and scope than the ordinary variant

Well, anything you want in this world as long as you don't wake up Zang Kong or go directly against the Fates...
So effectively anything bar things that if we could do them would mean we win the quest.
I'm sure there was something about him being weaker if he wakes up prematurely.
Speaking of Empire, is anyone up for creating Jade Protector with Philosopher-King like Reality Effect? We already have a Stand, and this way we can do whole "benefits of ruling without actually ruling" thing.

If we can get FB Reality Effects, sure. I think FB Elvegekere's Protector got regular non-Beyonded Reality Effects when hybridised with an Essence Grand tho, so we might have to research and FB custom Essence Grand also. Six bp is quite a lot, can't in good conscience support that despite it being cool.
I wouldn't mind a regular FB Protector appointed ruler of the Empire though, but I do not think it would have FB Dao (+1 BP) worth of effects. Maybe a regular King dao would work?
I like it because it is amusing to read, not because of mechanical benefits, to be clear. My subjective enjoyment of the work is significantly improved by Nameless being Spoiled in amusing ways, which is why I support it.
Also, consider that Xiaoling and Aurelia both like it! Elfu taste can't be bad, so we must be onto something with Spoiled.
