"... so..." you say at last. "Do you... like... gold?"

Jun-ho shrugs. "Not really."

Shit it's worse than you could've imagined.
BURN THE FILTHY HERETIC >:[

wait he's a red that won't work. uh. shit

[X] Show him the neighbourhood. He probably wants to get a proper feel for the local landmarks so he's not just stuck in and around your spire-region, and there's plenty of stuff to see within flying distance. Maybe you can even check out one of the places from the map on the sly. That'd really impress him.
--[X] The mountains. Air should be a lot clearer there, and if he's anywhere near as fascinated by magical bits and baubles as you then there should be plenty to amuse yourselves with in that old wizard's tower. Given how long and thin and flexible he is, he might even be able to fit comfortably as a temporary lair.

I'll be honest, I'm a little bit salty the vote turned out the way it did given how close it was (although hey, close votes this early on sure shows how much people care, 'ey Zerban?), so this is me trying to hammer things onto what I see as back on track. Let's show him the sights, get the quest rolling to unlock the full spread of husbandos so we know what our options are, and provide Jun-Ho with a possible lair that comes pre-furnished with Shiny Gifts and means he doesn't have to move in with us like he doesn't want to.

[x] Show him the vast treasure trove of wine your wish gave you and get extremely drunk in miserable solidarity with each other. What could possibly go wrong?

Because when your day goes this badly, obviously the answer is a drunken threesome with an Asian pretty boi and an golden-skinned man-whore.

Ha. Told you Mum would be staying around! :p

--[X] The forest. You don't really know how scale colour corresponds to natural habitat for his type of dragon but if it's anything like red dragons from around here it'd at least be slightly more comfortable. And there's that old abandoned estate he could squat in.

Poor Eldingar needs some space, and the best way to get that is to get the other dragon out for a bit somewhere.

[X] Show him Söfnun. It's dangerous sure, but if you get in early enough Mother won't have had enough time to institute martial law or whatever it is she intends to amuse herself with for six months. Beyond tormenting you.
--[X] Take him to the market and buy him things on credit you're not sure you can afford any more. You think that's how courtship works for dragons and mortals alike.

Let's be honest, the way this day has gone so far, chances are that Jun-Ho is a teetotaler.

I suspect the more likely result is miserably leaning on each other and possibly probably crying a bit while the golden-skinned man-whore giggles at us from off to one side. Booze has a way of exaggerating your existing mood and making bad times worse.

Agreed! Why the forest though? So far the mountains are more popular and well, y'know, dangers of split voting.

If your only concern is 'not getting drunk', the mountains are closer to outvoting it.

You mean that's not what a three-some is? Damn, I've been doing it wrong this whole time.

Forward planning. Eldingar can't get stuff delivered because he doesn't currently have an estate. But, if, conveniently, that old estate should become occupied...

That's actually not a bad idea, but I feel like given the current voting weights and Zerban's fast updating speed it's probably one best kept in reserve for a little way down the road. Maybe we can broker a deal with whichever husbando is already there when we visit?

--[X] Try finding somewhere 'classy' to take him. Something that makes you look deep and cultured and sophisticated, like an art sort of thing.

He doesn't seem like a dragon of material possessions, so maybe he'd be more interested in the city's culture.

When in doubt, get fucked up.

Besides what's wrong with getting so drunk you pass out for two days with a stranger you just met?

Mother already has plenty of unnecessary things in her life (such as you)
Ahahahahaha ow

Our boy needs a pick me up and drunken misery in a banged up lair is not a pick me up.

Drown our sorrows with shopping. Bad for the wallet, but it feels so good.

Maaan we've just been to the market, let's go somewhere new, like the mountains with cool wizard shinies.

I like wizards almost as much as I like dragons.

I like the idea of going exploring together, I dunno if he's the type for shopping. I mean all of these options are transparently just stuff Eldingar wants to do and then hopefully a miracle occurs and they find common ground, but exploring sounds mutually fun. I mean why is he here if not to explore? Possibly his parents are doing some kind of child-swap thing with Eldingar's mom. Or he's on the run from the law.
