Even Further Beyond [Complete]

Admittedly, it's markedly more relevant than before the previous Truth Vote, since we'll gain benefits that are about equivalent to going from FB Ego Barrier to EFB Ego Barrier (Pending how potent EFB Ego vs True Incarnation is). Plus at least a Truespell, so it is quite a competitive option.
Well, yes. However, there's a reason why the play is to go DIFH+L-D instead of DIFH+Bonus here - later is likely to give us both Flare and Love resistance by the time this timeskip ends, however, we only really need to get spell by the time Heroine awakenes. So instead, this works on getting more Fated Love resistance to go along with Flare, allowing us to be better defended against it when facing the Heroine, which also means less chance of Fated Love interfering in Acting as Truth.

You trade True Diagram research for more quality when facing Heroine. That mean later True Incarnation, but if we do beat Heroine than that won't matter much. There are scenarios where we could get both Incarnation and Flare before Heroine awakens with +Bonus or not get Flare by the time Heroine awakens without +Bonus, but i don't think that they are very likely.

I actually don't understand why you guys like pretending that Flare is unusable. We already see base Essence cost and it's literally negligible. As in, Cultivation cost from True Spells is actually not factored anywhere.
...it is really good in context, actually. Huh. All Paths has given us enough power to not have to expend essence regularly on trash mobs, so we could afford to save it for what really matters: cutting through Fate's BS.

Though with its three modes, the idea we would only use Azure Flare for Acting as Truth is unlikely at best. That's really the worst thing about it I can see: it's worth more the less we use it. It's the opposite of Value Town. It chafes... but that's hardly a meaningful complaint.

Shitty posts like this is exactly why I'm so confident of managing to push Azure Flare.

No matter how much you people like to push "b-but muh cost" bogyman, I can easily debunk it with

Note the distinct lack of "although this won't work because muh cost"? This and few other posts have Rihaku mentioning that Azure Flare is actually the way to go if we want to kill Heroine, despite what "it will totally kill us" crowd wants to believe.

Meanwhile, Truth Incarnation will remain least efficient option because a) We can't use Magnum Opus part b) Mind immunity is redundant with L-D+DIFH c) Stage boost is of no relevance against Heroine and d) It can't boost Azure Flare until we get it.

Whether Act as Truth works with a recoverable cost is dependent on Nameless' true nature. If his true nature is something that would kill the Heroine permanently and unhesitatingly, then the cost will be survivable. If it's not, then it won't be. Thus, defending against Fated Love has the potential to directly reduce Act as Truth cost. However, True Incarnation would be a much stronger defense.
It explicitly can kill us, and even if it doesn't, that would not be much consolation if it destroys most of our power base. There is absolutely no indication anywhere that Act as Truth could be considered cheap.

You probably shouldn't be. Using Flare against the Heroine with only partial protection from Fated Love can lead to the costs of using it very rapidly ballooning upwards to unacceptable levels.

If you took Do It For Her + Bonus (Azure Flare), you could get all three components needed to kill the Heroine before the year is up, in theory! Fated Love resistance from the Oath, esoteric offensive from Azure Flare, and your already have the needed power level.

Um, but the cost still matters because we have to face Zang Kong afterwards though?

Heroine awakens in, what, 1 or 2 years... If it puts us back in Cultivation progress such that it undoes those 2 years of cultivation -- or even just 1 year... well then we're kind of in a bit of a pickle versus Zang Kong aren't we?

Heroine requires esoteric defense and offense.

But Zang Kong requires us to hit a certain bar in pure power, or else we're probably screwed.

Well yeah. It allows you to ignore Time, Space, Fate, Death, Essence, Matter(Stone), Force(Energy), Flesh, Blood, Illusions and Knowledge while you are acting according to your principles. It's immensely powerful, but not something you can spam, or even use outside of very few situation. Still, access to such "fuck off i win" button is obviously very strong.

Still, Truthsaying and Nimbus are still super useful when talking with others, and are something we can actually use.

a) There is nothing there about killing us and
B) Which is why you get DIFH and L-D to reduce Acting as Truth cost, yes.

We get wish after defeating the Heroine, which we plan to use on killing the Fates to bind Kong in some fashion.

And now I'm wondering if it can be used to eliminate the sacrifice of time required for researching Time Sign spells.

Or if the sacrifice of time all has to be from one person. If only there was a way to make hordes of paid minions contribute their time instead.

... Which may not be enough by itself to deal with him. Especially if we're trying to split our wish between 3 objectives; get revenge on the Fates, drain them of power or empower ourselves, bind Kong.

Which is why I want to have a very high Cultivation level too.

Plus, True Incarnation is just good to get anyway. Comboing with Azure Flare, or providing a +.25 stage boost, is just one of the things. Furthermore, it won't just defend us against "Fated Love" (and do so better than trying to swear an oath) it'll defend us against any other mindfuck coming from the Heroine too, like trying to diplomance us; not just Fated Love.

I thought it was to empower us? If the sacrifice a single (admitteldy great) elf could elevate us to the peak of the seventh Stage, I'm sure the Fates can do better.
I mean, empowering us and weakening Kong accomplishes the same goal. We would love more personal power, but at this point i think that throwing Kong into Nothingness would be perfectly acceptable outcome as long as we can guarantee that he can't reach Existence.

People seem unwilling to kill him given the populace he represents, so I don't think that personal power is the way to go here.

It isn't. I provided why it's inefficient, on the last page even.

[X] +Bonus to Truth Diagram Progression (improves chance of learning a Truth Diagram during timeskip)
[X] Stay in course

I have been convinced, much as it pains me to change votes in general. If Perfect is the Enemy of Good, then by hell are we gonna need to get our Extrusion powered up. Jotunheim was Good, Extrusion was maximum hubris aiming for something beyond Good. Time Burns, yeah, but I've mistakenly thought that hey, we can always get properly hitched at a more appropriate date if our efforts to power up are generally in vain.

Taking into account that, if I remember correctly, we still get Aurelia's buffs even if we aren't married. As per Elven shenanigans, I'm more inclined to believe that she'll do as much as she could even without a Loyalty Event. An Event we could probably proc in the final year before Awakening. Hell, make the Loyalty Event the actual Marriage. Simple and elegant, something I'm sure Nameless would detest.

Also, forging an Artifact that boosts Nameless in correspondence to the power levels of those who swore actual oaths to him when? Sounds painfully like Path of King but ehhhhhhhhhh. It'll be like Marriage, without the kinky dinky stuff.
Oh come on man, don't be taken in by those who can't appreciate a proper elven waifu :p

I am going to be voting for True Incarnation on any future vote. Too much synergy with our build. Plus more True spells.

True Incarnation is what the Immortal Awakening has synergy with. It's one integral component of our build path.
Ah yes, that thing we won't get in next three to four years.

Meanwhile, all other stuff has limited usefulness as mentioned earlier, making it inefficient option to pick if you have Fated Love resistance already.

People want Palimpsest to be our third True Spell simply because others are not really necessary. True Spells, while powerful and cool, are not needed to close this one out.

Besides, it's not like we can't get Incarnation later.

Still don't rightly know what to choose, but I think I'll pick

[X] Do It For Her
[X] Lovey-Dovey

The BP is attractive, but we're not that far from having enough to reach the prerequisite 7 BP even without Stay the Course. Of course, if +2 MP was anywhere close to being a contender we might have had a chance for an undiscounted EFB (e.g. spend the timeskip researching Grand Essence Diagram), but as things stand I feel safe enough picking DIFH (while maximizing the effects with LD) and trusting in the power of Social Links. I'm also curious what her Loyalty proc is going to give us - even if we can't take the Ring from her without going down a really dark path, there might be a way for us to bask in its reflected light regardless. After all, as her husband (are we King or Queen?) we theoretically share in her authority.

I am not going to support any plan that only relies on Act as Truth, I see it as something of a last resort thing.

We can create an estoric diagram spells and True spell it to deal with the heroine. That's what I am going to argue for. True Incarnation is the way to go.

Our elf waifu can probably help us here.

Rihaku has said that our Truespell loadout will be different with Extrusion. I'm thinking True Amplification, then probably some mix of Cerebation, Deleberation or OTW. I'm personally hesitant on getting True Palimpsest for anything but Form of Balance/Virtuosity, since the logical conclusion of True Palimpsest (Elder Beast) would appear to be.. not very desirable? I'm not sure. True Potentiation, too, I'm slightly hesitant.

Of course, True Palimpsest might give us the ability to just swap out loadouts, which would be pretty good. Get the benefits of Elder Beast/Warmain without the negatives!

You keep referring to it very obliquely. What do we actually know?
We know that she's inhumanly benevolent and loving - theoretically it's possible for all this to be a deception, but that would require that the elves fake their millennia-old culture and biology. They're good, but not that good. We also know that her attributes have long shot straight through the stratosphere, - the only area we're superior in is physical might, - that she is superhumanly persuasive, and everything that follows from these facts. Another thing we've been told by Amouthanos is that our personalities are not incompatible, and seeing the latest update I'm inclined to believe him. They would risk too much by lying about that anyway, since superhuman persuasion doesn't imply perfect mind-control.

What can I say? Amouthanos knows his stuff.

Also that once she falls in love with us that's it, she'll never act against us and that she isn't evangelical and doesn't want to start giant crusades to save 10 dying human babies and stuff like that.

Cerebration would be desirable, given that Extrusion is more focused on hunting down and finishing the Heroine off, but Deliberation wouldn't be bad either.

I've theorized earlier that True Incarnation might allow us to ignore Cerebration cost, which would be fairly massive.
