That's logic does not check out. That or my tired brain is unable to gronk your words. Please explain why genderbent Jeanne is not... Actual expires instead of inspiration from the show.

Pyrrha, this is called making friends. You do it by hanging out with people who enjoy fighting and honor as much as you and aren't utterly incompetent. Only somewhat incompetent.

She went after them with sheathed swords until they were run out. She broke a sword doing this. Do you see canon Jaune chasing away whores in the name of God?

Fuck it time for exhausted exaggerated sarcasm, @Jemnite, maybe if you make Jaunne back into or reveal as Jeanne ppl will magically be willing to look in the direction of him bc lesbians. Quest history tells me that this will work and all loathing or avoidance will vanish under the idea that boobs fix everything.

The Jeanne d'Archétype drowns out what historical Joan of Arc was like. Hell, I consider myself somewhat of a history buff and I don't even really know what she was like.
 
[X] Take advantage of the tent city to refuel your supplies of dust through trading, and potentially pick up on the local scuttlebutt as well. If the challenge ahead of you is so difficult that the other initiates have felt the need to step up a cap to prepare you want to be fully equipped and supplied.

I mean if you want me to send you links about my historyfu I will, but saying something like a fictional archetype has drowned out the very real and we'll documented human being we call Jeanne D'Arc and then basically stating that despite all the records (including transcripts of her trial) one cannot gain any conclusion as to her personality

That's a bit odd tbh. I absolutely can't agree in the slightest.

I probably used history buff too freely, especially since I don't quite have an in depth for a particular era, or a grounding in basically all Western History. And admittedly, I've mixed more than enough historical fiction into my reading to ruin what I know about the vast parts I have little grounding in.


But what I was trying to get at was the archetype has drowned out how she really was in popular culture, even though the information is readily available and well documented. As is it's nature, more people are familiar with how something is portrayed in mainstream culture than how things really are.

Understandable, except that's going on for each character to a degree and not much revelent? Tbh I'm still not getting the one post's logic and my cat keeps waking me up. It's 4 am. My brain is not made for this owq
 
Why on Earth are people choosing the tent option at this point instead of any of the options that will allow for further interaction with the various characters and advance Pyrrha's story? It's a mystery to me.

Pyrrha and nora are amazing together, i wonder if Jeanne believes in the same god as us. if not we might have a holy war on our hands.

Many people otherwise noted her as humble and of sweet nature. I'm supposing they partially did so in order to avoid being swung at by the angry Maid's swords, like the less moral camp followers and soldiers. Jeanne "Follow God or get the rod" D'Arc. Jeanne "All HUSSIES get out." D'Arc. Not joking though, she managed to very much outwit learned clergymen in her sham of a trial, up until they basically got tired of not being able to just kill her already.

I'm irreligious af but I have mad respect for every element of Jeanne. While some aspects of the letter (as far as her personality) are likely exaggerated for greater effect, evidence being that Jeanne has herself stated to have preferred greatly her banner than any sword and never killed a man, the sheer strength of her conviction and faith overpower any reservations I might normally have.

Though not a direct quote; she states she would have liked to stay home and tend to the wool with her mother. And yet she goes on a holy mission to save France despite her desire to remain home. A young girl leaving her peasant life behind in order to fulfill the task that God has given her, via divine revelation, to absurd successes. She was illiterate and only learned to write near the end of her life. No matter how one views her 'voices', Jeanne D'Arc remains a figure of inspiration, and great appeal through out the ages.

I carry a picture of her in my wallet.

I might have gone too far in this round of shilling for Jeanne, so I'll stop for tonight.

Joan of Arc as she was known to the English lived a life worth of respect no matter who you are and the Hussites who she was sending the letter to where not a bunch of innocents who had committed no crimes. They where an army that burned and pillaged towns, villages and monasteries while killing civilians. Which is one reason they did not grow to much after the first year or two of the wars and were in the end destroyed.
I would be fine interacting with her expy so long as we keep Nora and Ren with us.

I remember hearing about that. They kept trying to trip her up on church doctrine and failing. Finally they had to try her for 'crossdressing' even though she'd only done it a couple times specifically for her safety and those were the kind of considerations the church normally allowed to dismiss the charges.
