Jaune being competent and outpacing Pyrrha. Actually made me laugh since she's so prideful.
But about the OC teams, something you could add in would be some heavy armoured heavy hitters. As far as I know, You don't see people in actual heavy armour throughout the first four seasons (haven't watched those after), and you'd wonder why people wear a plate chest piece but we don't see someone wearing full plate, or even a helmet. Probably since they prefer the high mobility fighting with flashy large movements and dodges.

The option for Ren and Nora is just kind of chilling and doing stuff together in general without a focus. As with all the votes that come with a write in option, you can modify pre-generated votes, so for example, taking Nora and Ren to go check out the challenge, or to meet the Rose sisters, or get ambushed by Weiss and her new quiet bodyguard.

Write in votes aren't neccessarily better than pre-gened ones, but they do give more of a focus and direction to how the next scene will play out, which you may or may not want. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Honestly in most circumstances I would go with the Juane option, since we really do need to interact with him eventually, and I am interested in the circumstances that lead to him beating us to the punch. But Pyrrha, Ren, and Nora just have a delightful dynamic and I want to see more of it. I'm open to an alternate write-in but I like the idea of the three just kind of chilling out together; actually being able to interact in a more casual setting would be a nice change from the circumstances of their relationship so far.

As some have said, the dynamic between the three of them is pretty fun, and I wish to see more.
 
While it's nice to have the option, haring off and abandoning your current companions feels a bit weird, frankly, unless there's some kind of issue with them. And I find them quite satisfactory.

We don't know the kind of training he undergone, but we can infer that he takes being a hunter seriously if he thinks that rushing towards the relics as fast as he can is a good means putting the odds into his favor. Perhaps his semblance would harken back to Joan of Arc? It would tell him what actions to take in order to get the best result. After all, Pyrrha seems to be much closer to her source material. Perhaps Jaune will be as well. Being like Joan of Arc would also give him good leadership skills. It would be nice if we were to meet up with him during the test to see if that is the case.



Probably Cardin. His name can count as a reference to cardinals after all. Who else would have the authority to declare if someone should be burned at the stake?

OK plan, if Cardin has a middle name similar to Giles or Rais, then we grab Jaunne and make like a tree. Aka- we leave this planet behind going full SV and making a spaceship.

[X] Take advantage of the tent city to refuel your supplies of dust through trading, and potentially pick up on the local scuttlebutt as well. If the challenge ahead of you is so difficult that the other initiates have felt the need to step up a cap to prepare you want to be fully equipped and supplied.

While having Achilles's expy interact with a genderbent Jeanne of Ark would be cool, I want to see more of the interactions between genderbent Achilles, genderbent Thor and genderbent Mulan because they are actual expires instead of the inspirations we have gotten in the show. Plus Pyrrha could use her own battle team that can keep up with the pace she is going to be setting.

Pyrrha, this is called making friends. You do it by hanging out with people who enjoy fighting and honor as much as you and aren't utterly incompetent. Only somewhat incompetent.

...I suppose we can't stay a 3 man team the entire time? I kind of like this dynamic without the awkward inter-roommate romance.

I'm mostly joking. The only person Pyrrha's deliberately flirted with so far seems to be Yang, oddly enough.
