Would inviting David to breakfast be an acceptable write-in?

Either way, we probably shouldn't do any combat training today.

It probably cost a fortune, but it would never sell that well now. Even from here dents the size of fists dotted the edge. Books are piled seven high, and the space and the floor around it are littered with crumpled up and torn apart pieces of paper.
Ah, probably the side effects of learning to not turn pages/papers too roughly.

Rebecca's turns just enough for the corner of her eye to dart towards you.
BASE STATE: IMPRACTICAL
"These are the hardest like I said, the base laws won't be too difficult. Although, it's not going to help how long this is going to take," she grumbles.
REVALUATING BASE STATE
Slumping in her chair, Rebecca massages her forehead. Pushing against the bed, you wince as the movement puts your head into a tailspin. You feel gravity take hold as you lean dangerously close to the edge. You grab hold of the bed frame, crunching the wood beneath your fingers.
STATE: ACCEPTABLE
Oh crap.
Invisible text.

What the hell is that? Is it our shard? What is it doing to us? Making us stronger?

I really didn't realise how banged up Alex was.
Yeah. It did not seem that bad earlier. If I had known he was basically passing out I'd have voted for him to go to bed.

However then we wouldn't have gotten that scene, known Rebecca was on track and getting those laws down in time was possible.

If we'd gone to bed then it'd have been the first thing we did in the morning and we'd have got a similar scene except Rebbecca wouldn't have been so worried.

[X] Don't go see anyone, just go to the cafeteria. Food first, work to change the world later.

We spent a lot of energy, we need food.

It seemed like it was our Shard doing a reboot, seeing as our power came back online right afterward. We've been getting these invisible text Shard statements pretty often throughout the story.
So after a period of heavy use our powers shut down for a bit maybe?

Damn. That could be a very dangerous flaw, if we run out of gas mid combat...

I have no problems with this, as I've said before, all write-ins are ok.

A reminder that within the course of 24 hours, Alex flew faster than sound, stopped a fight between Rebecca and David by splitting the ocean like Moses. Then, he put up multiple bulletproof shields, was slammed into a wall so hard he shook the foundations of a mine, crushed a man's arm like it was nothing, and finally threw a mountain into orbit.

It had quite the intensity.

[X] Look around to see if you can find David to invite him to breakfast. If you can't, go to the cafeteria by yourself.

Your work is absolutely amazing, I wish there were more fics in the 'Golden Age of Parahumans' period. Also, did you do your profile art or did someone else do it? It's, again, simply amazing.

Well we were far worse off than I expected us to be. Good thing we aren't known for doing the smart thing.

Thanks man.

Truth be told, this was originally going to be just a side project, but it's quickly growing into the best thing that I've managed to give to the internet.

Also a quick announcement: I'm not going to be closing the votes for a while. Discus, and keep enjoying the story.

And if you've got any major questions please don't hesitate to bring them up. I'll get to them as soon as I can.

Fighting David we kinda destroyed a planet.
