Being the Holy Grail is Suffering... [Worm/FSN Quest]

Servant Information
So I made an index of all the know masters, their servants and capabilities. The credit goes to @greysongarr for the character sheets, I just copied them. I just corrected some typos I noticed while reading them apart from that no modification what so ever. I will update it each time a new Master is chosen and a Servant summoned.

BB or Mysterious Black Magus

Master: None.
Parameters:
Strength: E
Endurance: C
Agility: D
Mana: A
Luck: EX
NP: A

Class Skills:
Magic Resistance: A
… It's Magic Resistance.
Cancel spells of A-Rank or below, no matter what High-Thaumaturgy it is. In practice, the Servant is untouchable to modern magi, so it would not be an exaggeration to title the Servant a 'Magus Killer'.

Item Construction: A
The Skill to manufacture magical items, from implements of war to items for daily use. Also, this Skill requires time to gather components and manufacture items.
To be able to produce devices that carry magic energy.

Territory Creation: A
It is the Skill to build a special terrain that is advantageous to oneself as a magus, such as for the purpose of collecting mana.
Creation of a 'Temple', which is superior to a 'Workshop', becomes possible.

Personal Skills:
Ten Crowns: D
It has been said that the ten crowns indicates the ten evil kings and the seven hills indicate the abominable city of evil. It is unknown what kind of principle・authority it is, but that power's origin lies in a past that even the King of Heroes, who was supposed to be mankind's oldest, cannot reach. On a simple look, it is a Skill that turns received injuries and occurred events, that make all results as if "nothing happened"
Due to the loss in rank, the power of this skill has dropped massively, though it is still capable of much. Injuries that would depilate a person or being are recovered given a brief amount of time, so long as they are not instantly fatal, and events can be rewritten so long as no less than a minute has passed since the event. This ability cannot rewrite events one-after-another at this skill rank, and the skill must recharge in order to be used again.

Aurea Boura: C
The Golden Grail BB possesses. Though it is a counterfeit Holy Grail, it is because that it is a counterfeit Holy Grail that it became a 'genuine' Holy Grail that grants the desires of humans without paying heed to right or wrong. The symbolization of 'Wealth of the Earth's poison from the Son's words.'
Unknown (presumed to act as a poison that deals damage periodically)

Self-Modification: EX
The aptitude to remould one's own body or merge one's own flesh with body parts of others. The higher the ranking in this Skill, the further away one is from being a proper hero.
The AIs manufactured by the Moon Cell are furnished with an absolute order of "do not improve its functions." But BB, who escaped from this yoke due to a break-down, began to expand her own functions. In order to enhance her calculation abilities, she predated/decomposed through the black noises NPCs, AIs and even Servants on top of that and employed them as her own memory. A posterior add-on that is not weary of self-breakdown, but, as a result, BB changed into a hyper grade AI that possesses an enormous capacity. These circumstances are like a city of reclaimed land that continues to construct buildings even as it sinks into the water, or even the monster of Frankenstein.

Noble Phantasms:
Cursed Cupid Cleanser: A, Anti-Unit
It draws out the power of the Moon Cell, and she transforms into an invincible nurse. From her territory of imaginary space, she brings out malicious information and rewrites the surrounding channel (shared perception) into chaos. The Reality Marble "BB Channel Branch-Off Edition" expands and throws the target into a crucible of chaos... though there's a lot going on, in short, it's an injection attack from BB after she changes into a nurse.
(She got bored of the prior Noble Phantasm and made her own…)

Jekyll and Hide

Master: Colin Wallis aka Armsmaster
Parameters: (Hyde parameters)
Strength: C+ (B+)
Endurance: E (B+)
Agility: A+ (B+)
Mana: E (D)
Luck: C (D)
Noble Phantasm: C (C)

Class Skills:
Presence Concealment (Jekyll Only): A
The ability to hide one's presence as a Servant, essentially becoming immune to 'Radar' that other Servants have.
Hides one's presence as a Servant. Suitable for spying. It is possible to disappear and become almost impossible to be detected. However, efficiency will decrease once preparations to attack are taken

Mad Enhancement (Hyde Only): A
Raises basic parameters (Strength, Endurance, Agility) and increases one's physical abilities at the cost of mental capabilities.
Rank up for all parameters, but most of one's reason is robbed.

Personal Skills:
Monstrous Strength: B
A skill that gives a temporary boost to the Strength parameter for a time limit based on the rank of the skill.
This Skill only manifests when Jekyll transforms into Hyde. Increase Strength by one rank for a few minutes.

Voice of Panic: A
A Mental attack that weakens the hearts of those who hear it. Stuns targets for a period of time-based on their Magic Resistance, Mental Corruption, and Madness Enhancement.
This Skill only manifests when Jekyll transforms into Hyde.

Self-Modification: D
The aptitude to remould one's own body or merge one's flesh with body parts of others, the higher the rank, the further one is from being a hero.
This Skill only manifests when Jekyll transforms into Hyde. Modifies the body to be specialized toward combat. Limited by the Assassin class, the Skill's rank is fairly low and thus its effect is weak to the point it might not even reach the point of extending the length of his arms and legs slightly. If he were to be summoned in the Berserker class, the cumulative effect of this Skill with Mad Enhancement would no doubt turn him into a beast that hardly resembled a human.

Powerless Shell: A
Makes the user difficult to discern as a Servant, declining Parameters and suppressing one's skills.
While his mind and body are in the form of Jekyll, it suppresses his Personal Skills, reduces all parameters, and his presence is no longer recognizable or perceivable as a Servant. Conversely, the dangerousness of Jekyll that has his Personal Skills invoked is on the level of a Magical Beast and his parameters explosively skyrocket as if a recoil. In a normal Holy Grail War, it would be a valuable Skill, but in Fate/Grand Order, it is more or less ineffectual.

NP:
Dangerous Game: C-C+, Anti Unit
An Elixir that transforms Jekyll into Hyde, and vice-versa. If he were summoned as a Berserker, he would resemble a Werewolf as Hyde rather than still himself. As it stands, it simply grants him physical prowess on par with the Knight classes, and on some point, he can overwhelm them.
Note: Expect questioning and suspicion if used.
Chiron

Master: Missy Biron aka Vista
Parameters
Strength: B
Endurance: B
Agility: A+
Mana: B
Luck: C
NP: A

Class Skills:
Independent Action: A
The ability to maintain one's form despite having no source of mana (A Master or Leyline), as well as giving autonomy to the Servant. High ranks normally come with high Egos as well and are harder to control as a result of the rank.
It is possible to take action even without a Master. However, to use Noble Phantasms of great magical energy consumption, backup from the Master is necessary. At Rank A, it is possible for a Servant to stay in the world for about a week without a Master.

Magic Resistance: B
… It's magic resistance.
Cancel spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for them to be affected.

Personal Skills:
Clairvoyance: B+
A visual ability also known as Eagle Eye grants superior visual perception and dynamic occipital capture, such as to supplement long-range aiming of projectile weapons. At high ranks, may give precognition.
Because of a good balance with the Eye of the Mind (True) Skill, limited future sight is possible.

Eye of the Mind (True): A
A heightened capacity for observation, refined through training, discipline and experience. A danger avoidance ability utilizing prior knowledge to predict an opponent's attacks and movements.
Capable of calm analysis of the abilities of the opponent as well as the battle conditions even when in danger and deduce an appropriate course of action after considering all possibilities to escape from a predicament.

Divinity: C
The measure of one's aptitude towards a Divine Spirit. At high ranks, one is considered a mixed race of divine spirit, while one's rank decreases with ranks in Monster and Demonic Beast or one's own dislike of the gods. It also has an effect which reduces special defensive values called 'purge defense' in proportion to the Divinity's Rank, being able to break through skills such as Protection of the Faith, and Enlightenment of the Sacred Fig.
An existence born between the Great Earth God (Cronus) and a Fairy. Just before his death, the body declined into a human body, and as a result, suffered a large Rank-Down from his original rank.

Wisdom of the Divine Gift: A+
A gift of wisdom granted by the Greek Gods.
Other than those characteristics of heroes, almost all other skills of proficiency B~A Rank can be displayed. Also, with a Master's agreement, other Servants can be granted Skills. However, this does not apply to Skills that originated from a different region or period.

Noble Phantasm:
Antares Snipe: A, Anti-Unit
A shot that shoots a shooting star. It is not a bowshot, instead being a Star sending forth a comet shot that holds tracking capability. It is capable of being fired by moving one's fingers away from their already drawn bow and doesn't require its name to be uttered, nor mana to fire. It does not have much attack power, resulting in most uses of it to be planned in advance before it is used. Can only be used once per night, and will activate upon his death.
Note: A Great Mentor. Methodical and planning albeit with low attack power surprisingly. Extremely high compatibility, middling power, middling long-term gain.
Romulus

Master: Theodore Anders
Parameters:
Strength: B
Endurance: A
Agility: A
Mana: C
Luck: B
NP: A++

Class Skills:
Magic Resistance: B
… It's magic resistance.
Cancel spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for them to be affected.

Personal Skills:
Natural Body: C
The possession of a perfect body as a living being since birth.
Romulus can temporarily rank up his STR. Furthermore, even without training, he's still beyond brawny. No matter how many calories he ingests, his body shape will not change.

Imperial Privilege: EX
An ability that, due to the insistence of the owner, Skills that are essentially impossible to possess can be obtained for a short period of time. In cases when the Rank is А or above, even the "burden to the body" can be acquired (such as Divinity).
The divine ancestor is almighty. For Romulus, his relevant Skills are Riding, swordsmanship, fine arts, Charisma, Military Tactics, and a truly diverse set of other things. Having this Skill, Romulus has personally sealed his naturally high ranked Divinity.

Septem Colles: A
A Skill based on the hills of Roma where the city was founded near.
Grants blessings to those he recognizes as his 'children', e.g. Roman emperors.

Noble Phantasms:
Magna Voluisse Magnum: A++, Anti-Army
The nation-building spear of ROME. It is endowed with the ability to manipulate plant-life, and the utterance of its True Name makes it undergo a transformation into a large tree symbolizing ROME in the past, present, and future. A Mass weapon Rome that buries its enemies in a tide of roots and bark.

Moles Necessrie: B, Barrier
The manifestation of Romulus's killing of Remus as a bloodsoaked Rampart. It is a Bounded Field Noble Phantasm which protects the space isolated by the walls. The fortress walls instantly rise from the earth, so the summoning of the field can be positioned to cleave targets like a guillotine.
Marie Antoinette

Master: Jean-Paul Vasil aka Alec aka Regent.
Parameters:
Strength: D
Endurance: D
Agility: B
Mana: B
Luck: B/B+
NP: A+

Class Skills:

Magic Resistance: C
… It's magic resistance.
If it's simple magecraft, she can nullify it.

Riding: A+
The ability one has to ride mounts and vehicles. Can't be used to ride Dragons.
She - who is a heavenly-sent child of the royalty conferred by God - can freely handle all vehicles and beasts, starting from the white horse that symbolizes the French royal family. However, the Dragon Kindcannot be mounted.

Personal Skills:
Alluring Nightingale: C
A mesmerizing-kind of Skill possessed by those with a beautiful natural voice; it is also a declaration of the exercise of power by the royalty. It works as a charm magecraft-like effect towards those of the user's opposite sex, but evasion is possible by means of a Magic ResistanceSkill. Even without Magic Resistance, one can abate it to some extent so long he or she maintains a will to resist.
For Marie, who has materialized as a symbolic existence, she can guide magical damage to the opponents of the royalty with just a single singing voice.

Princess of Loveliness: A
A Skill representing one's charismatic nature in regards not to leadership, but the ability to charm the people around oneself.
For Marie, who possesses an A Rank in this Skill, a knightly individual that protects her is pulled towards her just by existing.

Grace of God: B
A Skill that denotes the 'beauty of royalty'.
She was born to be a beautiful monarch, endowed with the greatest body and beauty.

Noble Phantasms:
Guillotine Breaker: A+, Anti-Army
The representation of the Glory of the French Monarchy, taking the form of a beautiful horse made from glass and imprinted with lilies. By invoking the true name, Marie can call the horse forward, making it, for lack of better word, frolic amidst the battlefield while sending radiance into the air around it with each landing, dealing damage to all foes, while healing allies and removing any mental effects.

Crystal Palace: B+, Barrier
A bounded field Noble Phantasm that manifests as a great palace made of crystal demonstrating the power of the monarchy, ranking up Marie's and her allies' stats. Even though she lost her royalty, she had hope that her people and nation would remain, and so the Palace is a symbol to progress and a new era, just as much as the monarchy. Marie's love is broad after all.
Mephistopheles

Parameters:
Strength: D
Endurance: C
Agility: B
Mana: A
Luck: B
NP: B

Class Skills:
Item Construction: B
The ability to manufacture magical items, from instruments of war to daily use items. Requires the components and time to create.
As he was an assistant to an alchemist for many years, he can create any of his magical items

Territory Creation: C+
A skill meant to create a special terrain that is advantageous to the user for some purpose.
Although smaller in scale compared to a Workshop, he is able to create an extremely efficient 'Laboratory'.

Personal Skills:
Witchcraft: A
A Skill that signifies one as a practitioner of Witchcraft. This magecraft has roots in both the eastern and western worlds.
His style of Witchcraft is the classical western Witchcraft, of which he excels at. It has varied uses, like returning the favor multiplied to those who hurt oneself, sowing discord upon personal relationships, or giving nightmares using succubi. It's difficult for the average magus to resist it.

Innocent Monster: B
An attribute possessed by Servants whose true history and existence have been distorted by the monstrous reputations and gossips they accrued across the course of their life and thereafter, without concern for the actual person's will or appearance. As a consequence, the Servant's abilities and appearance have been rendered to conform to the specifications of their legend. Incidentally, this Personal Skill cannot be removed.
His appearance has been transformed into the contract demon ■■■■■■■■■. The name of a monster that had his past and way of being distorted by means of the image born from Mephistopheles' deeds while alive. His abilities/figure ended up being transformed. In Mephistopheles case, there is nothing but merits in his distortion, such as receiving a strengthening of his Witchcraft and having obtained magecraft that reached the level of a Noble Phantasm. Truly a first-class demon.

Clown's Laughter: A+
A Skill derived from Innocent Monster as a (designated) demon, allowing the Servant to cast intense pressure over the human species.
Mephistopheles' targets would fall into a situation like they have been abandoned by luck, where if there is any chance of failing a Luck Check, it would fail for as long as Mephistopheles is casting his pressure.

Noble Phantasms:
Ticktock Bomb: A, Anti-Army:
A curse that introduces bugs into the magic circuits and spiritual bodies of Servants and the immediately detonating them. Like a mixture between pocket watch and bomb, they are set up on the field so as to appear to explode on contact, though Mephistopheles doesn't use them in that manner, instead when revealing the true name, the bombs insert themselves into the body (whereupon the target must take a resistance check (likely magic resistance rank affects this)), the max amount of bombs in one target is five, and 30 can be used total. He doesn't like to detonate at will, instead playing with his targets and forcing them to do his bidding.

Huh.

Once he's decided that Theo was "Gotted Gud" enough, ROMA is going to use Septem Colles on him to boost him to near(?) Servant levels isn't he.

Resistance 2.6
Resistance 2.6

Alec looked between his two teammates who were facing the dumpster looking ready to bolt, either at the dumpster or away from it depending on the situation. "So...either of you gonna check it out?" He quickly touched a finger to the tip of his nose (yes, the middle one). "Not it!"

Brian and Rachel turned slightly, each giving him the same flat expression of disbelief. The brunette simply grinned at them.

Eventually, after a moment of silence, Brian sighed. "It's probably an animal, or a homeless guy. Just leave it be." And just as he finished speaking the dumpster jumped, bouncing straight up three feet in the air. It landed, shook three times, bounced again, twice as high, and rolled forward, landing on its side. A closed cardboard box cam sliding out of it, coming to a stop at the trio's feet.

Alec stared at it for a moment. "...Let's open it."

"No, Alec, just no. For all we know there is a Tinker tech bomb or something in there."

"Or a magic genie lamp."

"...what?"

"Yeah! What if there is a genie inside!"

The box began shaking, rolling over onto one side, then back the other way. Rachel jumped when it moved and, looking at her arguing teammates, slowly leaned down to grab it.

"This isn't a game. You open that box, and you could be risking our lives."

"Or I could be getting each of us a wish! Ever thought about that?"

Rachel held the box firmly in place with her hands. It stopped moving entirely. Rachel perked up a bit as she heard...something coming from inside of the box. Small sounds she could barely make out
"Grail-Chan, what are you doing?" "We are not Grail-Chan, and we are trying to escape this prison." "...how did you tape the box from the outside from the inside?" "We expended prana to do so." "...how?"

"I think I'm going to wish for...world peace." "We must get out of this box!" "Wait, I meant money. Lots of money. Oops, silly me."

"Can you take this seriously!? We have who knows what left here by who knows who that could somehow kill us all any second!"

The box burst open. Rachel felt something impact her forehead and send her falling backwards onto her rear while Brian and Alec let out small screams of surprise.

Emerging from the box was a girl with unkempt long brown hair and pale skin blemished in spots by dirt and grime. She wore one of Alec's old poofy white shirts that he wore when in costume (he preferred not to wear the same thing twice). It hung loosely on her thin frame, resembling more a blouse than a dress shirt, but it was a tad short, and when she rose her arms hints of her midriff could be seen. She had tied the tattered remains of an old curtain around her waist like a skirt which trailed behind her, all of this white but stained in reds and browns. Rachel also noticed that half of an old stuff chew toy that the dogs had torn apart was also held in one of her hand, the head chest and right arm of a simple black stuffed rabbit.

"Holy shit! It's the corpse bride!" Alec did not move behind Brian. Nope. No he did not.

"Greetings. We are the Holy Grail. We come offering one of you the opportunity to have your wish granted."

There was a pause, then Brian slapped a hand against his forehead. "Oh no…"

He was roughly shoved aside by Alec (who had not been hiding behind him), though the larger teen only budged a mere inch. "I was right! I called it! You owe me a hundred bucks!"

"We never made a bet!"

"Sure we did! Don't you remember?"

"No, because it never happened!"

"Oh no, looks like big bad Brian has taken a few too many hits to the head."

"I wear a helmet, dick!"

Rachel stood up and dusted off her pants. She looked at the Grail, scowled, and walked back into their base, the Grail following close behind. "We would like to know if you three have powers." Rachel grunted once in response. "We would like to know if you three are villains." Another grunt. "We are pleased."

"So...anyone else kind of weirded out by all this?"

Rachel grunted in response, Brian continued to brood, and the Grail simply tilted their head. Alec look around the room from where he was standing (he refused to sit on the floor) incredulously. "Seriously? Just me?"

"We have questions we would like to ask."

Brian moved to stand in front of the strange girl. "I have some questions for you too."

"We are willing to offer a fair exchange. Answered questions for answered questions."

Rachel grunted.

The dark skinned teen stared at the girl intensely, though she did not react. "Fine, that seems fair."

"We should do it over lunch!" Alec inserted himself into the conversation. "I'm starving, and this is getting a bit too intense for me. We have some food around here somewhere. Drag a few boxes over, Rachel can get some of the pillows she has for her dogs-" Rachel grunted. "-it'll be great. In fact, I'll go get the food now. Get that ready. Brian, you keep the girl company and set things up."

Alec began to leave when he was stopped by Brian placing a hand on his shoulder. "What are you doing?"

The shorter boy looked at the strange girl, and leaned back to whisper into his teammate's ear. "The girl is either crazy, a cape, or both. I'm guessing you want to hear her out, but I'm still going to poison some of the food just in case. Slipping it to her and making her eat it if it turns out she's bad news shouldn't be too hard."

"Alec…"

"Don't worry. I got this."

They were part way through their meal, a bunch of ramen noodles and microwaved lasagna, when their conversation began in earnest. "I guess we should all start by introducing ourselves." Brian gestured around the room.

"Hey. I'm Alec. The pleasure is all yours."

"I'm Brian. The girl growling next to me is Bi-er, Rachel."

The Grail nodded her head once. "We are the Grail."

Brian leaned forward, directing the full intensity of his gaze at their strange guest. The Grail did not react. "So then, what are you doing here?"

"We have been seeking out Masters, participants in the Holy Grail War. We did not seek you out specifically, but we currently consider you three to be prospective Masters."

Alec perked up. "Masters? Holy Grail War? What do you mean by that?"

The girl hesitated for a second, seeming to be caught off guard by the question. She directed her gaze towards Alec. "We would prefer if we were to ask questions in turn. Regardless, we shall answer these in the order asked. Masters are the title given to those participants in the Holy Grail War who fight alongside their Servants in order to claim their wish. The Holy Grail War is a ritual, a deathmatch between seven pairs of Masters and Servants, where the last one alive may claim the Holy Grail, a relic which can grant the victor's wish no matter how impossible it may be. Lastly, we mean precisely what we have just spoken."

Servants? Brian opened his mouth, but froze when the girl's head suddenly snapped in his direction, her eyes narrowed. Brian closed his mouth.

"You have asked four questions, and so we too shall ask four questions in turn. We know that you three are a group of 'villains'. What is your group's purpose and goal? Furthermore, what drives each of you to pursue this path?"

Brian's eyes narrowed. "That's pretty personal."

"I had no choice."

The two boys jumped in their seats, surprised by Rachel's sudden interjection. The Grail turned her head to face the large girl, her expression the same calm serene blankness as before. Her head tilted. "We see. So you simply survive."

Rachel nodded her head once, even if it wasn't a question.

"Do you wish to live?"

There was a pause, unspoken words hidden in code deciphered by the larger teen in an instant. She wasn't stupid, just different, and even someone like her understood the difference between survival and life. Life was so much more than breathing, eating and shitting. It was so much more than not dying. The closest she got to living was taking care of her dogs.

Rachel nodded her head again.

The Grail waited for more, and when it became obvious that no more was coming it turned its attention away, looking pointedly between the two boys sitting at their cardboard tables.

Brian was the first to speak. "Fine, I guess it isn't really a secret or anything." He slumped in his seat, looking tired, like he was considering walking out of the room and taking a nap. "My home life sucked. I got out, but my sister didn't. I want to help her, you know? But I don't have the money to do it, to get her out and give her the life she deserves. So yeah, that's why I'm here. To get what I don't have."

The girl caked in filth stared long and hard at the black teen, then nodded her head once, smiling. She turned her head to the last person who needed to answer.

Alen made a big show of pointing to himself, his eyes wide and doe like, his voice dripping with overly exaggerated sarcasm. "Oh? Me? You want to know about me?" He threw his head back and laughed. "Not much to say. Well, that isn't true. Years from now historians will be writing textbooks about me." Brian visibly rolled his eyes. "But I'm sad to say there is not much to say about the whole 'why are you a villain' thing. Just here for fun is all." He shrugged his shoulders and winked at the 'corpse bride'.

"That is a lie."

"Says you. I'll have you know that I have plenty of fun playing cops and robbers."

"You lie by telling the truth. The answer you gave is true, but it is not the actual answer to our question."

Alec frowned, his eyes narrowing, becoming flat and dead. His brows did not furrow, though it seemed as though they did. Instead they simply fell into their resting position. He typically kept them higher, quirked, all the time. They were expressive, made to be so. Being able to control the bodies of others had bled into some of his own finer motor control. "Listen, I'm not just gonna open up to you and tell you my life story-"

"We did not ask for such."

He paused, reevaluating the girl. He smiled. "Okay, okay. I think I get it. I left for choice, I guess. There was some good shit back home. Not a lot to hate, but everyone wanted something, expected something, and that being directed at me was just the worst. So yeah, my childhood probably fucked me up, no harm admitting that, but I'm not gonna cry about it either." One eyebrow quirked up. "Nah. I just left to get away from people trying to control me. My family is real big on that." He laughed at a joke he knew the person he was speaking to wouldn't understand. It only made it funnier.

"You wished for freedom. Escape from manipulation. You did not like being pushed." Regent lowered his brow, but made a conscious effort to keep his smile on his face. He was pretty sure he was dealing with a Thinker. He got the impression that she was getting a lot more out of everyone's answers than what was actually being communicated.

"Or pulled. Or dragged. Or jerked around. So yeah, I didn't like being under my family's thumb. Just wanted to be my own man."

"And yet you are still controlled in so many ways."

Regent's entire body went still. His smile melted into a scowl. He grabbed a fork and stabbed it into the box he was using as a table. "And what the fuck do you mean by that?"

"There is still one more of my questions that need an answer."

Brian spoke up, cutting off Alec before he could continue his tirade. "You mean about why our group does what it does." He made sure not to say it as a question. "We don't really know. We have an anonymous backer that we do jobs for. He pays us really well, so we stick together and cooperate."

"So you are controlled more than first thought."

Alec's mouth was set in a hard line. His eyes narrowed. Then they widened. His mouth opened slightly as he stared at their strange guest. The girl looked at him, and simply shook his head. Alec smiled at her to mask his growing trepidation. She was somehow immune to his power. There were a few possibilities, but one horrible though hooked itself to his brain.

Master powers interfere with Master powers. Alec had experience with how his powers interacted with those of other Masters through his family, and so he was able to eliminate some possibilities. Those under the control of his family weren't immune to his abilities. He could make them do things, but he would essentially have to compete with the other Master. He could try to walk them off a cliff, the other Master in turn would make them turn around, and so on.

But he himself was resistant to Master powers. Specifically the ones of his relatives. Whether this be a quirk of all their abilities or simply a matter of exposure, he didn't know, but he knew it also worked the other way around.

All he knew was that there was suddenly a chance that corpse bride was his sister (his dad fucked a lot of people) and if that was the case he would be flipping his shit.

Jesus Christ, that would explain how she seemed to get more out of what he said than she should too.

The girl spoke. "To answer the previous question, we simply meant that your previous experiences have left an imprint on you. More of your actions are controlled by the wants you ran away from than you seem to think." Regent narrowed his eyes again.

The girl turned to Rachel now. "We have answered a question and thus can ask yet another. We would like to know, though you say you wish to live, if you had the opportunity to have a wish granted, a single wish, any wish, would that truly be it?"

Rachel hesitated, looking somewhat lost. After a moment of deliberation, she spoke. "No. I think...I'm not the only one. Like this or that. I want to help the strays."

Both Alec and Brian were confused by the response, but the Grail nodded her head in understanding. "The world is full of poor unfortunate souls. Children...strays as you put it, with no home. It is an admirable wish, though we understand that one must place their survival first."

Rachel shifted in her seat - well, pillow - uncomfortable, though whether by the jab at her priorities or just because of the deep questions, no one could say.

The Grail swept their gaze around the room again. Rachel, the girl who had lived her life as an unwanted stray and who in turn held a dream of somehow helping others like herself, but was held back by her own need to survive. Brian, the boy who escaped from unfortunate circumstances, but now lacked the means to do the same for his sister. Alec, false name, who fled from the control and manipulation of his family, but had not yet become free.

Options, options...

OPTIONS:

[] Focus on Rachel

[] Focus on Brian

[] Focus on Alec

AN: This is essentially where you vote for who you want to be the Master for the Undersiders. I say essentially, because there will be a chance to change your minds after this. Essentially, whoever is chosen will be grilled for more details, then you'll get the option to either make them a Master or shift focus to someone else. Just wanted to make sure that was clear. Sorry ya'll for the long wait.

[X] Focus on Alec

So far all the masters are heroes or vigilantes, and I feel like Brian would be more of the same. Rachel could be interesting, but I feel like Alec allows for the most interesting interactions.

I don't think Alec is a good choice, he's too apathetic. Brian is alright, he's fairly average, doesn't have much extreme desires. Rachel would probably just order her servant to guard her dogs.

[X] Focus on Rachel

She'd be the most likely to actually help the others with her Servant.

Brian would be too focused on what he agreed to, the dangers of the Grail War, the implications of other Masters, and all the other bullshit that comes with becoming a Master.

Alec wouldn't give a shit about that and do his best to use his Servant any way he saw fit. The only problem is that he'd focus on himself first and foremost and his teamates next if at all.

Rachel, fucked up as she may be, at least has the pack mentality necessary to see the others as part of her 'group'. Like Alec she won't hesitate to fight in the War, nor will she give much of a fuck about the strangeness of the situation. Her Servant will simply become part of the Pack, another member that can help her achieve her dream and needs to be protected in turn. As long as Brian and Alec don't betray her then she'd happily use her powers to help them, if they can explain their problems in a way that makes her give a shit. But that's their problem, not ours.

[X] Focus on Alec

He would need a servant to push him past his laziness but he would be an interesting master. Especially since his teammates and Coil are going to involve themselves when his wish is to not be controlled.

[X] Focus on Alec

Is this even a choice? There is no snark like Alec snark.

I don't think Alec is a good choice, he's too apathetic

The alec shown right now isn't his apathetic self that he crafted. But the emotionally scarred runaway that wants to not be under anyones thumb and guess whose thumb he wouldn't want to be under now?

The fact he was willing to poison Taylor says a lot and he's being rather calculating right now.

We're dealing not with Alec, not with Regent but Jean-Paul Vasil AKA Hijack.

[X] Focus on Alec

Brian is honestly my first choice, but Alec is more likely to win, and as my second choice he gets the vote.

[X] Focus on Alec

We actually need someone willing to fight the holy grail war, Alec seems the most likely to do so.
