    Just wondering, were we ever supposed to do ok in Palette Swap with merely occasional usage of wpoints? 'Cause it's starting to seem like continued pumping of wpoints is an integral part of the quest, which might be off-putting to newcomers to the quest. :(

    On the other hand, it's bloody amusing to watch the wpoint-spending deluge.

    Yeah you were supposed to do okay, with the occasional loss of a party member. :V This just lets me speed things up and skip all the grindy bits.

    I'll miss walking back and forth for hours and hours--XP grinding and severe over-leveling are such cherished parts of Nuzlockes. :p

    It is. I'm replacing it with high-intensity battles that reward you with high amounts of XP, interspersed with d'aww scenes amongst the team. :p

    I am thinking about persuading them once I got a PC, maybe later after Semester 2 or the short semester. They're the "if we already have one, we don't need another regardless of quality" as well as "show-result and maybe we'll reconsider" type. I'm working on it right now, but with me asking for a PC right now...

    Have you read The Game of Champions on FFN? I'm not sure if the rest of the story is the kind of style you would like, but the Brock and Misty gym depictions are perhaps the most interesting I've seen. No rush--I just highly recommend reading it at some point.
