[X] leave the recipe untouched
[X] focus on socialising
[X] lift some stones
Binged this quest a while ago and now posting for the first time. Just wanted to say I'm really enjoying the world you've fleshed out here. This is the only quest where I can say I was actually excited to read about...
Loved that game so much when I was younger. I still fondly recall the time I threw an enemy into a building and for that sky scraper to then fall on top of them.
No other giant monster has been as good.
I get that Lustrian Plants seem kinda boring but I also thought the Runestone would just be a boulder with runes on it.
There can be hidden surprises is all I'm saying.
I actually love the idea of having a Rogue's Gallery exhibit of Harkon's Henchman. It just goes great with the stated purpose of the Museum and makes for a great contrast if we put it across a hypothetical Harkon's Enemies/Rivals exhibit.
Of course every so often we'll have to shift artifacts...
[X] Citadel
[X] Research Colony
[X] Far East
The first two because they expand on topics we already cover and the third because sruff from the East is always interesting hust from sheer novelty. We might get something related to Jadebloods too and while that'd be a coup for our museum, I'm not...
[X] Death
The Elves need to get with the times!
Necromancy fuelled disasters have been all the rage amongst the Humans lately. Even the Orcs (well, one Orc at least) have gotten into it. Can't afford to be shown up by a Greenskin of all things, it just wouldn't do!
I wonder if we can Investigate the Tides/Nilfhunder and figure out what that hullaballoo was all about? In hindsights, a bunch of old Norscan pirates would know things about an old Norscan ship.
[X] The Tide of Skjold
My issue withthe Careener is that we would ultimately be a side hustle for them. They'll always be beholden to other Skaven organizations over Awakening and I'm not sure if we could indebt them to us like we did the Princess.
Ok? He's still our boss. Like, the only reason this museum is happening is because he wants it to happen.
I want to go on fun vacations with colorful characters and learn interesting lore too but we have to be seen actually doing our job by the guy who signs our checks before we can do that.
Here is a dude whose entire job is regaling people about Luthor Harkon and his exploits. We just so happen to building a museum to glorify Luther Harkon and his exploits.
I'm not really seeing why this wouldn't be a good choice at this point.
[X] Black Lion
[X] Vampire Skald
These two have the most synergy with the exhibits we have now.
The Barrow King is likely to hang around for later recruitment, as is the Stromfels lady.
[X] Skeletons
[X] Critters
I'd imagine any exhibit we make will have to bend back around to glorifying Harkon one way or the other, so this can be the bases of a 'How the Arch-Grande Commodore tamed Lustria' or some such. It's also familiar territory for Uncle Lionbutt preserving skeletons and...
[X] Pull the ACU Into Reserve
Keep a commander Harkon on the Eerie islands to maintaining the quantum resource network, but pull the ACU back for more flexibility. This will force Killkrusha to act carefully, while you can take the ACU to strike elsewhere.
Going against the grain here because I...
