hey man, doubt u remember me but we talked in the Ralson HH thread, anyway the biggest bringer down of monarchies in the past was either internal rebellion or people getting ideas that they want to be in charge like princes overthrowing fathers or brothers fighting each other or army having the ability to dictate who would be the next emperor or king. So the secret police thing is wrong or very uncommon.
