  • Are there any plans to put the rest of items on DTRPG up on Itch? For various reasons, I'd rather buy from Itch, but if they're not going to get ported over soon™, I'll just buy them from the former.

It's honestly not worth the work for most of it. Itch does not drive sales.
Seeing as you're the OP of the majority of the threads for Flying Circus and the associated plane building rules and such, where should I post asking for assistance with trying to recreate WW2 aircraft in the latest(?) version of the rules? In particular, I'm really not sure how to read things like altitude, "power", and speed in relation to normal units. Rate of climb is also something I'm not sure about.
Hey, I just wanted to say that I really like and admire your work. Spider-Liv in particular is the sort of thing I've always wanted to write, and that I hope that I will one day. I am a much better person than I could have been because of writers like yourself, and I hope that you know that your art is doing real and measurable good in the world.
Hello there! I was wondering if there's any chance of an update on Spider-Liv anytime soon, as the quest is an absolute delight and I've missed it dearly the last few weeks <3

i would love to, but i haven't updated anything. i'm in the final lead up to releasing a book and it's too stressful to allow me to write

Well, I'll definitely be interested in that as well!
Good day to you, madam. If you don't mind me asking, where is your avatar from?

Because it was one character too long so it got split in half and it was annoying me.

    I see. That is annoying.

    Thank you for your time.

At one time I actually went poking into the CSS to try to futz with this because it annoyed me. I even created a separate group specifically for the purpose of scaling down your username to fit. :V
Is it bad that I thought of you when I saw a quest tagged "Erika you useless lesbian"? it seemed like the type of thing you might tag a quest with if you started another while already having so many.

Obviously, it isn't yours (a second glance was a enough to tell that) and I know you are pansexual (that's hard to miss) but IDK, I probably need more sleep, but you're a cool writer named Erika so it made sense for a moment.

i have in fact tagged my 40k quest with it for that exact reason

I knew that I had gotten that idea from somewhere! XD

Also, loving that quest! Lesbinquisitor is best inquisitor, especially when she is actually good bean.
Noticed a "Last edited: today" message while rereading, is that a limited thing for what looks like just 'new alleghany has multiple presidents' or is it a more involved set of backfills/rewrites and i should i postpone the rest of my reread for a day or two?

    What is it now?
For all that I find the default setting of flying circus to be a silly place, I've just spent about two hours chatting with a friend about the ecological and sociological effects of a species of fast-flying, air breathing, divebombing (as in, they know to drop rocks on big things while moving quickly) electric stealth sharks emerging on the world stage at the same time as humanity.
Question: did we take a point of stress when we developed in-wing nacelles? You never said we did, and I've been assuming 'not' for awhile now, but if we'd actually be going up to 6 stress on the optimization mess I've been talking about, I'd like to be able to tell people that.

No but it used up your freebie from the interns.
I'd just like to say thanks for honestly talking about your difficulties with plane quest: you've reminded me of the reasons why I started writing Mantle (my own quest centred on similar themes) in the first place.

I've had the exact same kinds of issues with writing Sunshine and Liath and Portia in my own quest, and ultimately came down on the same side as you - honesty has to win out. Even though it's hard, even though you want to flinch from it, you have to write what's honest, not necessarily what you think your readers want.

Sometimes that means bending the literal truth for something more emotionally honest: sometimes that means being painfully and uncompromisingly direct. It's a learned skill, to some degree. But - if it matters to someone, it's worth it. At least in my book.
I am so honored to have you even briefly visit my quest YOU made possible. For you to then shoot me a like has me over the moon!
I read all the Cherno threads and enjoyed them greatly.

I wanted to thank you for all the effort you put in...I have begun world building for my own spin on a VtW.

I am brainstorming and ironing out understanding the system before I start.

would you consider joining the conversation and giving feedback?
I've been contemplating trying to run a "vs the World" type of quest, applied to a different franchise from Pacific Rim. Would you mind/d'ya think I should go for it?
