I agreed with your first thoughts about it. Wally isn't a discussion to have with so little time available.

Point. We can't put it off forever though- if not now, then soonish.

We can tell her there is something important we'd like to talk to her about. That there just isn't enough time to talk about it today but we would like to talk about it to her soon. Tomorrow possibly.
Good luck with talking sense into Hitomi Quest...

People making references to another quests are the worst. Don't they know about "what happens in a thread, stays in the thread"? -_-

I thought this with Madoka was just the set-up for a proper conversation later rather than the whole conversation itself?

    Muramasa
We already burnt through a lot of time. I doubt were going to get to everything as is. And the Madoka talk feels more substantial then just set up.

Well, yeah, it's us rushing to say things we were going to say properly later because of how Mado seemed worried. Point is, it isn't and shouldn't be the ONLY things we say- or the only time we talk to her. And what'd you mean by your idea, talk to her about Sayaka? That's something that can probably wait a few hours.

Mind you, we probably want to do the Ono set-up thing now/after this vote.
    Muramasa
    Muramasa
Fair enough. I'm just pointing out this is eating time we were going to use to talk to Sayaka. I don't think we're going to be able to have that conversation now without half assing things here or there. If we get time to talk about it at all.
I actually liked the idea of that line as a general warning...but couldn't think of how to word it. Maybe tell Sayaka just to be careful?
    Muramasa
    Muramasa
Well yeah that's what I meant.

[X] We can probably handle it, Sayaka, if we're careful. On that note: rule of thumb, be careful about talking to unfamiliar magical girls without backup. You don't know what they can do or what they intend to do.

    maybe?

    Works
Uhhh, she did give advice TO Koko on handling Mami, and told her about Sayaka. So that's definitely relevant.

Point is, Madoka is definitely good with people- and an excellent judge of character since she analyzed Kyoko and her Mami relationship pretty well.

Yeah, I only half remembered that scene. Thanks.

No problem, just happened to reread TDS lately. Good story, even if it was railroaded a bit into tragedy and we could have seen more of the blueberry/Mumi teamup. Very good insight into Mumi-issues and Koko.
Uh? Mura? That vote's kinda the Sabrina Socialbot 9000 again- ie: the tone's flat, it doesn't care about the fact Oriko just resigned herself to death, and it just sounds...off. It's much too flat and emotionless for what we've just heard and the Gadjovote kind of says the same thing but with more feeling to it.
    Ugolino
    Ugolino
To say that her dying would be a bad thing, that she needs a happy ending too since she's at least putting up the front of being okay with dying for the sake of the world. Sabrina /SHOULD/ be flipping out over it, saying that no this is not okay, and just from a tone POV for the two votes saying much the same thing...
    Ugolino
    Ugolino
Like...you've had plenty of good votes and you're usually pretty good about your reasoning but I really don't think this vote's very good at all. "pretty damn unhappy" is just inadequate here, the tone's stilted, and it just comes over as...well, detached. Not callous just not what Oriko needs to hear.
    Ugolino
    Ugolino
Yeahhh just saying "I'd be unhappy" feels inadequate compared to the alternative wording. It really feels like...well, the kind of wording you'd feel om a get well soon card. Like just reading it out loud, does it seem like Sabrina cares all that much in that vote?
