    You can turn the adult content off in both VNs (the first requires a patch to access it in the first place) in the options menu. I think this makes the relevant scenes fade to black, but I'd have to test it.

    (If anyone else is curious, my takeaway was 'practice comparisons a lot'. And the general practice/learning advise to avoid cached thoughts, and to think about things that work well or bother you for long enough to figure out why.)

    Of course, I haven't finished most of them. (With SP, it's because I was miffed that Mirror Stephanie was, as far as I read, just a generic Doppelganger, rather than Real Stephanie Edgely. How many stories get such a perfect chance to contrast their MC's masquerade persona with their magical one?)
