What happens when an Aes Sedai from the Age of Legends finds herself in the Third Age? The Forsaken thought they were alone, but there's a new player in the game.
Before the War of Power erupted Taija sedai had been a physics professor, happily ensconced in research. Like so many other aes sedai, the Shadow brought her peaceful, happy existence to an end and pulled her into a war she neither expected nor wanted. She should have died fighting one of the Forsaken during the War of Power...
Atop Dragonmount, Rand al'Thor chooses differently. However, when he turns the One Power against the Pattern, it doesn't break the Pattern. It merely burns away two years, effectively throwing Rand back in time. With his judgement no longer clouded by madness and equipped with Lews Therin's memories, Rand has a second chance, and he doesn't intend to waste it.
