A spin-off from the "Mackie was a Maus" quest. Will the shiny new war machines built by the Nukashubans allow the Peripherats of the Papolris System to make their system safe from pirates, Spheroids, and other shadowy menaces?
The Terran Empire rules most of known space, with the indomitable Royal Navy standing as a bulwark against foreign powers and perfidious pirates that lurk in the many asteroid islands of the Etherium. Legends are whispered of a ship - the Black Star - that sails through space with sails that reflect no photon and blow on invisible breeze. Crewed by the damned and captained by a man so evil hell itself spat him out...
These are, of course, just legends.
Aren't they?

A short, silly...
If there was a constant in the story of mankind, was that wherever there was sea trade, there was piracy. Thousands of years have passed. Humanity now crosses the void propelled by fission and plasma instead of the ocean with sail and oar. It shares, reluctantly, the galaxy with other species, when before she was alone. But between familiar and alien stars, there is still trade. Therefore, there is piracy. Come on friend, let us go forth. To hell and plunder.
Loot, pillage, and plunder the galaxy as a pirate admiral in the 41st millennium! Will your legacy be one of incredible wealth and terrible infamy? Or will you become just another corpse floating in the endless void?
