    Welcome to Anime, Try Avoiding Cliché Take Two
    (Development Hell Is Real in the Anime Industry!)​

    Welcome Junior Narrators and Lead Designers! Welcome to a new Shadenight123 Studio Production that definitely won't be halted after barely a couple of hours! (right, yeah, let's just say the previous Artistic Director got lost on the road to Hawaii with the money for the entire anime season production!)

    First off, a set of votes. Because votes are important.
    If you don't know what this quest is about, then have a look at the previous one...which unfortunately died due to licensing agreements and copyright infringements, and most certainly not out of boredom or muse-chan going elsewhere! Nossir!

    To do a brief recap of what this Quest is about...

    You are basically a group of decision-making individuals who will try their hands at making an Anime as original as possible, while fighting against the Creative Director (That is, me) who will at every turn try to make the Anime in question as non-original, and Cliché filled, as possible. This isn't a clear-cut victory or loss condition, mind you. The poll is there just to see how well the lurkers (I KNOW YOU EXIST) and who will act as 'viewers' (HA, GET WORKING YOU LOT) deem the 'Anime' plot progression and whatnot. Original? Cliché? It doesn't matter. As long as we all have fun, that's fine.

    Mind you, even if you're an active participant, you can vote in the poll too. There's nothing against that.

    Now, with that said...let's get the ball rolling with the obvious FIRST-OH! POST-OH!

    Setting

    [X] Fantasy. We know you want the elves, the dwarfs, the demon lords and everything nice.
    [X] Space. We know you want a space soap-opera. Let's get to it with Lasers and moon-sized megaweapons!
    [X] Futuristic. It's not space, but cyber-augmented humanoids and quick-thinking AI and Hackers are reality.
    [X] Steampunk. If it's not steaming, exploding with cogs flying around or otherwise filled with silly top-hats we do not want it!
    [X] Modern. It's the street you know, the people you talk to, the things everyone does. School, work, everything nice.
    [X] Something Else. It must be a setting described in one word. It cannot be a fusion of multiple settings.

    But that is merely the world the Artistic Directors are going to draw.

    The Voters need to do more. They need to decide not just the setting, but also the Main Tone of the Pilot Chapter.

    ... So much for making wacky settings. Here was I, in mood for "Post-Apocalyptic Diselpunk Mecha Western" with a healthy dose of Mad Max. Zeppelins, Ruined cities, cowboys, out of control robot armies, and protagonist bonded to ancient grounchy Mecha trying to save his small part of the world ... all while being SHINY AND CHROME.

    But alas, such thing cannot be described in one word. I suppose budged constrains are a thing. Oh well, I suppose we will have to settle for a lesser thing.

    The Quest itself did say Random, Everyday Protagonist so I'm not sure why you'd expect something else.
