The Zero In The Wheel Quest (Familiar of Zero/Dungeons The Dragoning)

Ugh, so on one hand we've got a plan with random Decadence and no Dex increase, and on the other we have eight people who can't be bothered to be informed voters. What the heck, SV, what the heck.

You realize it's tied, yes?

GM Houserule: Aggregate Levels.

Since I'm doing Diablo color-scaling for weapons, armour, gear, and vehicles, I might as well do something similar for levels.

As of now, class levels will be added together into a Character Level. What does this mean for you? Better and more entertaining dice rolls hopefully.

'But Gideon!' I hear some of you mewl, 'Won't that make Louise overpowered?'

Yes, it will. Because Easy Mode was only in effect as long as Louise was in one class.

Welcome to Hurt Me Plenty mode.

So that effects our... Resilience, Action Points, Pressure, rolled dice on attacks with proficient weapons, weapon jam chance, how quickly we can train our Power Stat/magic schools/gun kata/sword schools, and a few feats yeah?

Well. If that's the case, taking a shit load of easily capped level 1 classes just jumped in priority.

Welcome to Hurt Me Plenty mode.
And Ultra-Violence is going to be next?
Okay, other people who know the rules: what does it mean for us?
I would have said it ruins the balance if the nonexistent in the first place seeds of it weren't strangled in the cradle by GM introducing his overpowered equipment.
After gaining several classes the following will be true.
Level gives: +Xd0 on attack and parry rolls: we will hit. Always.
+1 Resilience (divisor for damage before it's subtracted from HP) every 2 levels. We are tougher, but not enough to compensate for weapon power.
HP. Still not enough.

Pretty sure HP is just Willpower + 2xConstitution.

Guardsman is looking more attractive with those two Sound Constitution per level...
Not to mention that we could replicate Guardsman training when we get back to Halk to turn Herinetta's personal troops into a force capable of kicking in the teeth of anyone who challange's the rule of Louise's best friend.

Yeah, my bad.
No? They are 3 times excellence.

I would say it all makes monk utterly useless, but @Gideon020 mentioned armor stacking. Does it work with Wholeness of Body?

Guardsman is looking more attractive with those two Sound Constitution per level...
True. Well, and not everyone is armed with a Slamgun.

Right forgot about the parry... one of the Gun Kata lets us parry bullets (Clay Pigeon level 4, obtainable through Sheriff or Operator) and another lets us use our guns to parry melee attacks(Point Blank level 4, we already have access). 3 levels in Arcane Knight allows us to parry single target spells (fun fact, no mention of a restriction on what kinds of spells are parryable other than that. Parry that Unluck!)

High Pressure gives bonus Pressure equal to our level.
True. Well, and not everyone is armed with a Slamgun.
Guardsman is a wonderful path for what we already have but I definitely want a level of Sorcerer as soon as physically possible. That first level massively boosts our chances to cast fettered, and until we get the chance to take levels in Halk magic schools it gives the best immediate access to the best magic schools.
I would say it all makes monk utterly useless
Monk gets about the only non-equipment based permanent Aura in the game. It's only equal to Wisdom and they get it at level 4, but some is better than none. Arcane Knight also gets Aura, but they get it at level 5 and have to have a hand free; theirs equals your ranks in Arcana.

Because I felt like it, have a list of house rules I found through a quick search through the thread.
GM House Rule: Stacking Armour
Light and Medium Armour can only be stacked on the Body, and only one of each type.
Heavy, Extreme and Power Armour cannot be stacked with any other armour.

GM Houserule Amendment: Aggregated Levels changed to Averaged Levels.

Playtesting has revealed the houserule can be abused, so the following shall now apply.

Levels will only be aggregated should a Class Track be fully completed and then will be Averaged to create the final Character Level. This is to represent Louise studying and reconciling her varied areas of expertise into her own personal philosophy.
