The Lonely Lioness - Cersei Lannister Quest

[X] [Allies] The Queen Regent can still access the treasury. Steal some money to keep the sellswords on your side.

[X] [Allies] You still remember what you learned about Littlefingers dealings all those months ago. See if you can turn some of his contacts to your side.

[X] [Retreat] Dragonstone calls for you for some reason you can not name. It is also easy to hold unless its gates are opened by treachery.

Who needs named character allies? They'll just slow us down, surely.

@Azel , should we plan-vote? It would suck to end up with non-synergistic options for allies because the highest-voted options from opposed slates took the top two slots.

Ok, I thought it over and this is what I decided on.

[X] [Allies] Rykker and Velaryon are likely plotting how to navigate the change of power in Kings Landing. See if they can be made to support you one more time.

[X] [Allies] Edmure Tully has nothing left, but he still commands some Rivermen. Maybe he too craves revenge on your shared enemies.

[X] [Retreat] Dragonstone calls for you for some reason you can not name. It is also easy to hold unless its gates are opened by treachery.

To summarize my logic, Edmure is likely the one with the most actual loyalty out of all the potential options. He's friends with Rykker, so I'm hoping Tully can get him to our cause and we really do need a navy. And we should go to Dragonstone since it seems like something is compelling us to go there and Aerys said to follow where our blood guides us to.
That's pretty much my logic as well. Tully is bound to be the most loyal out of all these options, if only b/c we sunk so much investment into him and he doesn't really have much left to go back to and if we go to Dragonstone, we NEED naval assets on our side otherwise we're liable to get sieged to death.

And yeah, I think plan votes might be best for this. But then again, Cersei is going off her rocker and doesn't really care about what comes after her vengeful rampage, so ending with something inefficient might be in character.

EDIT

Who needs named character allies? They'll just slow us down, surely.
B/c part of the fun of being a bloodthirsty mad queen is seeing the reactions of people close to us as we lose more and more of our marbles, duh!

It would be like if MacBeth just had the guy rambling to himself then getting stabbed by some guy the audience doesn't know

Being crazy by yourself is dreadfully drab don't you know.

[X] [Retreat] The Disputed Lands have swallowed all kinds of people over the years. One more company of sellswords will be born.

Machiavelli discouraged relying upon mercenaries for good reason. They are loyal only to their own lives and coinage, and frankly, there are better prospects for both than Cersei.

The Tully gambit will pay off any moment now!

I think this is viable by playing the angle that Littlefinger has abandoned them to die. If they're his allies, they'll surely find it in character.

She has people to murder and she's expecting to go down with them.
Do we have to though? Maybe we can do a little... cut and run? Burn and turn? Char and then go far?

The thread Targ-player reveal kind of threw me for a loop. But this really sucked me back in to follow Cersei on her path to glorious veangence.

Great writing Azel. :)

From the very first post in the thread
AN: Been a while since I did anything Game of Thrones related and over the last weeks, the mood took me. There are some subtle and some not so subtle differences between this world and canon, so canon knowledge is not always accurate. I also have some players lose in the world that will spice things up, so this will not be the stations of canon for very long
We've been here from the very beginning... I hope your gambit pays off, it'd be a shame if Cersei croaked without at least knowing of my guy. That said, he has already been mentioned in the rumours, just not by name...

Ah, Brynjolf Coldfyre, one presumes?

It remains to be seen. For the nonce, all that matters is bloody vengeance. In the words of King Novik, so shall one say unto Cersei now. Rip and tear, until it is done.
