The Emperor's Finest (Warhammer 40,000 Chapter Quest, Title Pending)

Can I tag those that only have one vote to their plan and try to convince them to vote for my plan?
Normally you could, since I honestly don't see any issue with Mass Tagging people, but unfortunately, I'm locking the vote since 24 hours have passed since my last post. I'm pretty sure that plan Storm Crow won, but can anyone give me a vote tally so I can confirm?

Tallying!

[X] Hive World: The towering spires of hive worlds are each home to billions, if not trillions of humans. As such, Hive Worlds are considered prime recruitment worlds, because even if the individual inhabitants of such cities aren't especially impressive compared to Death or Feral Worlders, the sheer amount of initiates that can be provided as potential initiates means that your chapter will have an ample amount of recruits, even if a majority of them do not end up passing the requirements needed to become fully fledged marines.
[X] Cybernetic Enhancements: Due to close ties with the machine cult, your chapter is able to augment themselves with cybernetics that make them even harder to kill than the 10 foot tall nigh-unkillable combat monsters they were before. Iron Hands get this bonus for free.
[X] Infiltrators: Your chapter is unusually skilled in the arts of stealth, infiltration, sabotage, and guerrilla warfare. In addition, a larger than normal percentage of your Primaris will be Vanguard units equipped with top of the line Phobos pattern armor designed for stealth operations. Raven Guard get this bonus for free.
[X] Veteran Warriors: Even by Astartes standards, your chapter has a large number of veteran soldiers, each with centuries, if not milenium of experience. Your chapter has a larger number of Vanguard and Sternguard Veteran squads, as well as an increased number of Dreadnoughts and Terminator Armor.
[X] Master Craftsmen: Your chapter's techmarines are particularly skilled and as such the quality of equipment they can make is superior to that of other chapters. While this bonus does not give you access to new types of technology like STC Access does, it does make your standard equipment and weapons better and more reliable than normal, and increases the amount of relics you have as well. Salamanders get this bonus for free.
[X] STC Access: Standard Template Constructs are eternally hunted after by the Adeptus Mechanicus, as these wondrous devices hold the secrets to building technology long thought lost. Through luck, cooperation with the Mechanicus, or simply by having held onto it since the days of the Horus Heresy, your chapter has access to one of these devices, which allows you to construct extremely rare and powerful vehicles and weapons for your warriors. Dark Angels get this bonus for free.
[X]- Unknown- Your primarch, and therefore what chapter you are descended from, is unknown. This could be simply due to bureaucratic failures on the part of the Administratum, the records about your origins could have been destroyed in a previous battle, or more sinisterly, they could have been covered up by the Inquisition for some reason. Whatever the reason, your origins are unknown, but likewise this also means that your chapter is free to make your own legacy unburdened by the history of your predecessors. Chapters with the Unknown background are allowed to select one free bonus of their choice.

Thanks. In that case, I'm calling the vote for the Storm Crows, due to it getting the most votes when you combined the tallies on SB and SV, and counting the vote that @daedalus725 made:

[X] Plan Storm Crows Chapter
-[x] chapter master name: Hiawatha
-[x] chapter name: Storm Crows (Bluesteel, Jet Black, Midnight Blue and Gunmetal Colors)
-[x] Raven Guard
-[X] STC Access

-[x] Rival Chapter*

Though I think I'm going to also revise what I said before. Initially I said that I was going to say that I was only going to say people could only vote once even though the quest is posted on both SB and SV. However, I have now learned that trying to seperate votes that were made on both sites is, to be frank, a massive pain in the ass. Therefore, due to it making the QM's job drastically easier, I'm going to revise that policy and say that I'm just going to combine votes on both sites, pretty much meaning that if you have an account on both, you can vote in both threads, and I won't stop you.

It's not ideal, and I understand if people don't like it, but having to sort through the separate votes between both sites to make sure the votes weren't duplicated was a pain, and that's before getting into people who have different usernames on one site vs the other. At that point it's either just let people vote on both sites, or close one of the threads in favor of the other, in which case the SB thread would likely be the one getting the chop, since I got more than twice as many voters on SV than I did on Spacebattles.

At any rate, I will be working on the update now.

Inquisitor Vote Needed
Actually, one thing that I need to verify. I'm still making the update, but I noticed that the winning plan didn't actually mention what Ordo the Enemy Inquisitor is going to be for. So, until Monday, I'm going to be holding a mini-vote on that while I make the next update, since while it won't be super important in this update, it will in the future ones.

We have unstable geneseed for some reason, so might as well get this ball rolling.

Huh, I thought that as our enemy we wouldn't get to decide on it and this would be rolled for, but I won't look a gift horse in the mouth.

But before I vote, I'm confused by what you mean. Isn't it more dangerous to have a Malleus Enemy because they can use our unstable geneseed as a pretext to search and purge our ranks of mutations (real or imagined)?

Yes it is. Maybe King50000 wants hard mode quest of death and misery. I won't vote for this, but I approve. It just quite hard to make a quest good that way

[X] Ordo Hereticus

Because, quite simply these guys never get any screentime, and to a lesser degree their the Ordo I'm least sympathetic towards, but I'd like to see what's unique about them. Probably mid-tier difficulty (less powerful against us than the Malleus but able to dedicate more investigation of us than Xenos).

That's gonna happen anyways. Our unstable geneseed is already going to be known due to the geneseed tithe, and we're going to be watched closely by everyone. That doesn't even include the extra scrutiny coming from being over strength as well. Choosing to have our Inquisitor Enemy come from the Malleus will just be a more exciting story line at this point.

Yes it is. Maybe King50000 wants hard mode quest of death and misery. I won't vote for this, but I approve. It just quite hard to make a quest good that way

We were automatically put in hard mode when the plan with 4 disadvantages won, especially the unstable geneseed and over strength combo.

In narrative terms, I also like Ordo Hereticus more than Malleus because they can go at us from more angles than just "corrupted by Chaos" which to be honest is a bit stale at this point, especially compared to the much border jurisdiction of Hereticus.

Hi its in my plan, Ordo Xenos Inquisitor is the rival as well as the reason behind it.

Turn 1: A New Chapter Master
You are Chapter Master Hiawatha Ghostbear, chosen leader of the Storm Crows Astartes Chapter , the assigned protectors of Subsector Thaumiel. However, you are not exactly having the best of days. The death of the previous Chapter Master, and your good friend, Dasan Trivius, and your subsequent promotion from captain of the 1st Company to the leader of the Chapter has left you with big shoes to fill, though thankfully it seems that the rest of your chapter is largely supportive of your leadership, even if there appear to be some murmurings as to whether or not the new Primaris recruits qualify as "real" members of the chapter, as most of them have not been tested in battle yet and even fewer have undergone most of the trials and rituels expected of your chapter.

However, there are still a number of issues facing the subsector as a whole. In addition to being one of It was recently ravaged by a savage WAAAGH of Orks, and although thankfully it's leadership is currently splintering after Chapter Master Dasan gave his life slaying the warboss leading it, the greenskins are still a force that could pose a threat, especially if a new warboss manages to take control of the horde. However, more threats than just them are brewing. Unrest caused by the aftermath of the greenskins seems to be bubbling up on several places, and to make matters even more complicated it seems that for whatever reason there is not only one, but two Inquisitors sticking their heads in the sector, no doubt each with their own agendas. And then there's the Great Rift itself, which not only makes it more likely that you may face attacks from renegade and Chaos forces in the future, it has also largely cut your chapter off from the Astronomicon, making reinforcements and outside aid extremely rare. As it is, you were extremely lucky to get aid from the Indominus Crusade as it is, but the ships delivering your new Primaris reinforcements have since left, leaving you alone to try and manage your chapter and the threats that may turn their attention on the subsector.

To that end, there are still several courses of action your chapter could undertake at the moment, though unfortunately, due to one of your three Battle Barges being lost in the Warp during the opening of the Great Rift, and another one being destroyed during the Ork invasion, you're only able to answer one offworld call for assistance at a time.

[] Belshir: Belshir is an Agri-World that was hit hard by the rampaging Ork WAAAGH and is still recovering from the attacks, and is also the world where Chapter Master Dasan fell, slaying the warboss of the WAAAGH. Although Ork "leadership" is currently splintering as a result, there is still a heavy greenskin presence on the planet and nearby airspace, and they could use assistance, especially since as one of the main Agri-Worlds in the subsector, several planets depend on it for food.

[] Antion: Similar to Belshir, Antion was also hit hard by the Orks, though where Belshir is an Agri-World, Antion is a Forgeworld, producing tools, habitats, and vehicles for the neighboring systems, as well as weapons for the local PDF forces. As such it's survival is critical, and the Mechanicus are requesting assistance, as their Skitarii legions were decimated by the Orks.

[] Ossus: Ossus is the name of a belt of asteroids and dwarf planets that orbit the main star of subsector Thaumiel. The mining facilities there were mostly abandoned during the Ork attacks as defending them was initially too difficult, but you are getting a call for assistance from one Inquisitor Tigor Duke, an Inquisitor of the Ordo Xenos that your chapter has had a number of… less than cordial run ins with. By the sound of things he is requesting extraction from one of the larger mining stations, but did not mention why he was there in the first place…

[] Space Hulk Terminus: Near the edges of the subsector, it seems that a Space Hulk has been spat out of the Warp. Your chapter has received a communication from Inquisitor Alana Elgev of the Ordo Hereticus asking for help exploring the Hulk, as her normal backup of Grey Knights is currently unavailable thanks to the Great Rift. Space Hulks are notoriously dangerous things, filled with all sorts of xeno and chaos related horrors, but at the same time, they can be filled with treasures as well...

Hmm this a tough decision to where to go first but I will go with securing an important food provider and take care of the Orks before their leadership can get proper organized.

Also do we not have any Strike Cruisers, or Escort Frigates? What kind of Chapter only has Battlebarges?
