• In a few hours, I'll say goodbye to my teenage years, and enter into my twenties. I know technically speaking it's really all semantics, but it's still pretty surreal to think about. Guess I'll let you know if I feel any different in the morning, but first I'm going to pursue that which is the true scarcity of adulthood - a good night's sleep.
"The human race is a race of cowards; and I am not only marching in that procession but carrying a banner."
"We should take comfort that while we may have more still to endure, better days will return.."
Just past 3000 reactions, glad to know I've said something worth saying to someone in my time here.
Seemed to have blinked between 1600 and 1700 posts. Guess the quartine and quotes without context have really bumped up my activity.
"I've never killed a man, but I've read many an obituary with a great deal of satisfaction."

At least that's where I first found the quote.
In but a month, the world as I knew it seems to have been swept off its feet, it's foundations pulled from under it. I can only hope that this retreating tide doesn't promise a tsunami upon return.
Just saw the timestamps on a thread change to yesterday in a blink... both creepy and a sign I need to go to bed.
As you can probably tell I'm going full out with my Meows while I have them. Going to make the most of them!
"From a Joyous welcome, to a sad voyage
The Void in this world is once again felt"
    -Buddhist Proverb
"There's even an Australian sever, which, is already abandoned and filled with spiders but goddamn it's good to be loved."

    - Rimmy - Downunder Gaming

The Aussie multiplayer experience in a nutshell.
I'm managing the Q-store for cadets. No one coming up at this hour, but need to keep everything safe.

The breeze feels beautiful here, even if a touch cold.
After years of thinking it was hard-wired into my computer, I somehow suddenly turned off my blue light filter on my laptop for the first time through a random combination of button trying a totally unrelated command.
