Such obsession SV has with RWBY. Doomguy and co will stick out like a shore thumb here, but perhaps that's the intention. Granted, the Grimm make the demons redundant, but we'll see how it goes.

Mostly I want doomguy and Doomslayer to pick up mecha shift weapons (so they can shoot while they rip and tear) and then fight the Grimm

Because well they are not going to be running out of monsters there for a while.

What it does is a potential life-saver as it releases specialist chemicals and artificial tissues to actively repair damaged and destroyed tissue even in the heat of combat. You always try to pack a box of these in case of need.
[]Medical Backpack: A fully contained field-surgery kit allowing one man to operate on anyone, even himself, in the heat of combat.
