Well, my character sheet at long last.
Name: James S. Lawson
Rank: Civilian
Nationality: Unknown, believed to be American.

Atlanta-class light cruiser (
Oakland subclass)
Age: 26
Height: 6' 2" (~1.55m)
Weight: 154 lbs. (~60-something Kg.)

Relationships: Akagi (Wife), Amagi (sister-in-law), Kaga ('sister' in law), Houshou ('mother' in law), two daughters (Miki, Amy), Akizuki (former girlfriend), Hibiki (Drinking Buddy)
Bio: James washed up and was discovered by the 6th Destroyer Division near Yokosuka one day fairly early in the war with only the clothes on his back and no memories of his past aside from his first name. Attempts to find his family failed due to a lack of identification, spotty memory, and an inability to find records of any sort. It was eventually assumed his family was killed by Abyssal forces and the case was closed, with James assuming his current identity shortly after.
During that time, James suffered from frequent nightmares, and was rumored to be from a parallel universe and was also even rumored to be descended from a shipgirl himself after making remarks that he felt some kind of 'connection' to them.
He was taken in by the 1
st Carrier Division in spite of reservations on the part of Kaga, and ended up performing odd jobs around the base, and was even taught archery. He wound up in a brief relationship with Akizuki, though it fell apart a few months afterward due to wartime stresses. Eventually, he developed a crush on Akagi, and one that was eventually reciprocated, the two marrying a few months before the war's end. They settled down on the American west coast and eventually began raising a family of their own.
Lawson developed an 'only sane man' reputation and wound up in a rivalry with the Kongou sisters while he was at Yokosuka, and tries to remain on top of things at all times. However, he has a good sense of humor and enjoys outdoor activities in his spare time, and wound up publishing a moderately successful memoir of his stay in Yokosuka,
A Vivid Port.
Yukari 'Akagi' Lawson
Rank: Aircraft carrier
Nationality: Japanese
Ship:
Akagi-class CV
Age: Depends on how you look at it. (Physically ~24)
Height: 1.65m
Weight: 60kg
Hair: Black
Eyes: Brown
Theme song: TBD
Relationships: (See above)
Bio: A member of the famed 1
st Carrier Division, Akagi was one of the very first shipgirls to appear in the wake of the Abyssal War, and was soon joined by her division mate, Kaga. The two became the best of friends, even as Kaga continued her rivalry with the girls from the 5
th Carrier Division. Akagi soon developed a reputation as a glutton, capable of stuffing metric tonnes of rice (and other food when it was available) into her stomach, and she admitted that she liked to eat simply because it felt nice.
Eventually, she took in a newcomer by the name of James Lawson, who had washed up with no memories of his life before ending up at Yokosuka, and along with Houshou, taught him archery in their spare time. The two wound up marrying before the war's end and settled down in America before starting a family, with Houshou joining the two as a doting grandmother, and her sister Amagi also joining them.
Akagi is sweet and cheerful, and cooks just as much as she eats, though is serious when the situation calls for it, in contrast to Kaga, who remains stoic and has difficulty expressing her feelings. Akagi has also experimented with a number of hobbies, including poetry and painting.
Emi "Amagi" Takeda
Rank: Battlecruiser
Nationality: Japanese
Ship:
Amagi-class battlecruiser
Age: 25 (physical)
Height: 1.65m
Weight: 64kg
Hair: Light brown
Eyes: Gold
Theme Song: TBD
Relationships: (See above)
Bio: The lead ship of her class, Amagi was scrapped as a result of her keel snapping during the Great Kantō Earthquake. She was summoned roughly a month after the Abyssal War ended, and all the better for it. When she returned, her keel snapping translated into her being a paraplegic, which meant she would have been unable to assist in combat operations. She was even more surprised to find that her sister had not only returned as well, but that she had even married and was planning to start a family.
Amagi eventually moved in with her sister and her brother-in-law shortly after Akagi announced her pregnancy, and dreams of being able to sail. Even though she's confined to a wheelchair, Amagi doesn't let it get to her head, and instead has assumed the role of a doting, slightly teasing older sister.
