BASICALLY : A young university student, William "Will" Steiner has lived a hard life full of personal hardships. As mentioned before, Will suffers from depression and a very low self-image of himself in addition to a whole boatload of other mental issues, stemming from years of emotional trauma inflicted upon him by everyone around him. He doesn't view himself in a very good light, and has stated many times that he is not a 'good man'. Yet, he is willing to do anything to save people -- save complete strangers even -- because he says he shall defend, so that others may live.

BASICALLY: Max is a quiet person, not very gregarious and usually doesn't speak to people he doesn't know very well. You'll know when Max considers you a friend. He'll just randomly appear out of the blue and start babbling. Almost as if he has two personalities, Quiet and nervous with strangers but Talkative and Expressive with friends. He does voluntary work with the Philippine Red Cross and was taking an Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences. (I'll have more when I know the history of the Abyssal War)

While they do not have chances to meet up in person anymore due to the distance involved, they do Skype and Chat on Facebook often enough. Ashigara considers Max a dear friend. At least that's what she tells Max.

Captain Dover has had first hand experience with the ship girls for many years now. He lost his first ship, the Burke class destroyer USS Halsey, in the opening months of the war. He was then tasked with creating the first ship girl unit after the their appearance, and helped to pioneer the original ship girl tactics. During the war, as the ship girl corps expanded his unit became known as an elite fighting force. They served on the very front lines of the conflict, pushing the Abyssals back at every step.
After the war, he was given command of a converted shipgirl tender(A former Independence class LCS) and helped to perfect shipgirl/conventional Navy operational procedures. He served in this role for almost a year before being reassigned to command Fleet Schools Norfolk, where he trains the newest generation of ship girls for US Navy service. He has since legally adopted Johnston and helped to sponsor her appointment to the US Naval Academy.

Johnston was one of the first ship girls to appear in this world, and she's had the most combat experience of anyone. While not keen to get into a fight(she tries hard to avoid fighting at all costs) when pushed, she is perhaps one of the best fighters of the ship girls. Towards the end of the war, she used her skills in order to perfect several unconventional tactics. She led several commando raids on Abyssal strongholds in coordination with conventional special forces.
After the war ended, she was adopted by her former superior and long time mentor, Matt Dover. The captain was able to secure an appointment for her at the US Naval Academy. Four years later, the destroyer graduated with a commision as an Ensign. She spent several years in the surface Navy before being tapped for her expertise. Now a special tactics trainer at the Fleet Schools, she trains the best candidates of the new ship girls in specialized and unconventional warfare.

Halsey was the first modern ship to come back as a ship girl. As an Arleigh Burke class destroyer, she was one of the first ships lost in the war. Sinking right after the Second Battle of Midway. Under the command of Captain Matthew Dover, she sacrificed herself during the Enterprise's dash to Pearl Harbor in order to give that ship enough time to reach port.
Her return as a shipgirl came as a surprise to everyone as up till then, only WWII and early Cold War era ships had returned. It was later theorized that her connection with the war and with Captain Dover, now commander of US ship girl forces, had something to do with her return. Whatever the reason, Halsey quickly proved herself in combat.

He is usually seen wearing a dark grey fedora. although he does try to be welcoming to the people around him he often has to resort to being either a smart-ass or snarking at people to avoid getting angry. as a businessman he has to make sure that things go smoothly but understands limits
History: Having come from a rather well off family in Central America, his family managed to stay relatively ok despite multiple government coups due to the fact that their jobs were to boring remove. Eventually having had enough they moved to Canada, where he began his education and met his two greatest friends. Graduating from university he had problems finding a job and eventuallly joined his two friends in a job for the mob. they were successful until the abyssal war had occured. Being inland for the most part they were spared much of the overt conflict but instead they had to go through a more subtle conflict as people began to turn on each other in fear of abyssal infiltrators when the first human looking one was reported. he had to actually take to the field to make a truce between the police and mob happened to help keep the peace. eventually though after the war had passed he retired from gun running to run a tabletop gaming shop near his neighborhood. He met his first shipgirl cutomer at a tabeltop tournament where she promptly kicked his ass and came by to see how his shop was run and she spread the word to other ship girls. He does have complaints when Washington shows up with his girlfriend Kirishima though something about war-hammer tabletop being their couples therapy.

History: Assigned to Canada Follwoing the Canadians joining the conflicts in the Pacific to get them acclimated to the fighting in the Pacific she wound up infected by their brand of crazy. in the years following the war she found herself bored while visiting Canada and picked up tabletop gaming as a hobby. while attending a tournament for one of those games she found a shop keeper that gave her a rather enjoyable game, even if she did end up tabling him. she found his shop and has since kept coming even starting a relationship with the shopkeeper after a few months. she does keep her real identity a secret from him since she does not want him to view her any different. she also makes a killer grilled bird though the recipe is a very close guarded secret.

I really have to question if you want to be in this RP or not. Like what I and other players have said in the past, this isn't a crack quest. Sure there will be some silly bits, but we're not going completely ballistic in terms of realism.
