Ah, since Akane brought up the whole Blackmail thing, which was originally my write in way back when, I'd like to take a moment to talk about the actual intent of that particular plan.
Basically, the situation was rapidly escalating to a pointless fight in my eyes. Akane wasn't backing down and neither was Kyouko. However Mitakihara could support Akane so there was no reason at the time, to refuse her stay. However, doing so would undercut/piss off Kyouko even more than the blackmail did and at that time the relationship between the two of them was rather fragile and I didn't want to alienate Kyouko.
Thus, I decided to take a third option. Let Akane stay but slap on a bunch of things to mollify Kyouko so both parties could feel that they gained what they wanted. In other words, a compromise. One without bloodshed on either side. Therefore, Sayaka blackmailed Akane with a bunch of rather loose and simple rules that could best be described as "being polite to the MG's that had the orginal claim on the territory you're hunting in" with the One Favour hopefully saved for a "Help us Fight Walmart night" or other emergency.
Now, since the rules were so loose, and Sayaka's relationship could only get stronger with Kyouko, my original intent was to eventually explain to Akane that the only reason she was blackmailed was to prevent a breakout of violence and Sayaka didn't really mean any of what she had said, followed by an earnest attempt at friendship and what not. Alas, that was not to be as there always seemed to be more pressing matters or Kyouko being Cute to pay more attention to.
~Edit~
With the super power of Hindsight we can see that the situation for Akane probably looked far, far more grim. As Lord K said in the Rolz Room: Out of frying pan and into another fucking pan. Kyo/Saya probably came off as just as bad as the T6, strong MG's bullying the weaker ones with superior numbers. Not to mention Kyouko's empty threats of killing/maiming her would seem all too real. Only this time, the girls in question were preventing her from rescuing her friends damn it!
I wonder how much of Akane's drop off the radar of the quest was due to her specifically avoiding Kyo/Saya and not just Kyo/Saya not looking for her. Hell, I bet she had a hate/fear boner for Kyo/Saya till they showed up to help her fight off Mitsuko and damn well tried to help her.
