"FUGGIT."
"FUGGIT!"
"BA-DA!"
"DAMMIC!"
"DAMMIC!" Minako said. "BA-DA!" "FUGGIT!"
She looked at her slices of banana like they had suddenly delivered a grave insult, and with a sweep of her hand across the plate, threw them across the room with surprising force. A spear lanced out from Kyoko's direction, catching the slices of banana neatly on its flat side. The toddler screamed with delight.
"Can we have another one?" Kyoko asked sweetly, reeling in her spear like a fishing line and plucking the thoroughly mushed banana pieces from the spearhead.
"DAMMIC DAMMIC DAMMIC!"
"No." Sayaka looked at her daughter, then at her wife.
"You taught her those words. You have to live with them now."
"FUGGIT!"
Kyoko sighed. "Here's hoping this is just a phase and you take after Mommy and not Mama when you get older."
Minako grinned, shoving the last piece of banana she had kept instead of throwing into her mouth and chewing noisily. "Minako gonna be just like Mama!"
"Don't swear, honey."
Sayaka snorted into her coffee.
