During the freefall, people were being put in the building. The question is, why weren't they there when we landed? How did they get out and scattered among the rubble without being injured?

It's possible Homura did the timestop-evac at the last second, like we were speculating on. It's also possible that Madoka wished them to safety. Regardless, though, something happened outside of our expectations.

Don't think there was a contract. Madoka being terrified is quite expected (all of your friends fighting giant hurricane monster) not responding is scary though...
 
Madoka is probably just stunned right now. I don't think she expected Sayaka to just call her with the best news she could've possibly expected to hear right there and then.

What about the Tokyo girls? Should we get Akane to telepathy them?

I think Homura might have done a timestop evacuation of all the civilians.
Could also be the reason she's holding her head, besides realising she defeated Walpurgisnacht.
You don't get a response on the other end...but you do see Homura out of the corner of your eye, just grasping her head, as she tries to process everything.

'Madoka?' You ask. 'Madoka are you okay?'

You still don't get a response on the other end, before you hear something. 'I-I'm sorry. I almost...I'm sorry I almost did that I'm sorry-'

'Hey, it's okay.' You say. 'It's just...holy shit we did it. We did it!'

'I...I don't know what to say I...' She keeps having pauses when she's talking. 'Homura. Let me talk to Homura.'

You nod, before you turn to Akane.

[x] Wave to Akane in order to heal her.

You move towards Akane, and immediately, you raise a hand up. "Oi."

She doesn't say anything as you heal the hole in her torso. "Thanks."

[x] Talk to Homura

You turn towards Homura, before she lets out a long, exhausted sigh. You see Ran splayed out on the ground, exhausted, before you decide to ask. "Did you...?"

"Every single civilian." Homura says. "They're safe. Giant seed. Quick evacuation. They're alive." She coughs. "...we...give me a moment." She says, before she gives you a slowly growing grin. "A moment." And then she leans back before just hitting the ground and snoring.

-[] Akane.
-[] Write-in who else.

Hmm. That's definitely going to put a damper on Madoka's request...
 
I'm... not the least bit surprised that Homura passed out.

Wow, think about it. This is probably the first time in, who knows how many many years, that she has felt the situation to be safe enough to sleep soundly...
 
Meanwhile, I'm betting that Madoka is headed over to tell Bestmom that her daughter is alive and well. Miho is likely going to be so relieved.

Well, there go my fears about this possibly being an incubator trap. Of course, it still could be, but the likelihood is dropping fast.
