You boost towards the heart of the Doll, only to miss horribly as the Doll jumps backwards and, in the same motion, headbutts you into the ground. You bounce off of the golden floor with a loud clang, before eventually coming to a stop while lying flat on your back. You groan in annoyance, and wonder why your bones didn't just shatter as soon as you hit the ground. You stand up, armor slightly dented, before you see Kyouko impaling the heart and twisting the head of the polearm.
"Gotcha, you-" The doll lurches, cutting your girlfriend of as she holds on again. 'Why's it still moving?!'
The Doll is clearly in pain, and even with Kyouko impaling its heart, it's still moving. It misses Akane's punch, clumsily misses a kick, and turns towards you as quickly as it can.
You see Homura out of the corner of your eye, pistol in hand, as she slides across the ground and fires several times. The shots bounce off of the Doll's face and chest, before she shrugs. '...That didn't work.'
You sputter and wipe your chin. Immediately, you realize that blood was actually leaking out of your mouth; apparently that impact with the ground destroyed your innards. 'No shit?'
