I wouldn't be shocked it they can't. Still, if they can and do, all the better.

They are five, I hope they manage to put together least half a seed per head
Besides, we lose nothing for ask
Note the "if they can spare them" part. This implies that if even 2 seeds would put them dangerously low, we won't try to convince them to give them.

That´s why it´s in conditional (If they can spare them), and the same thing wil happen if Sayaka or Akane runs out of seeds, besides Akane is our Heavy Hitter and close friend, losing her will we an almost certain BAD END (trauma or loss of firepower)

...you guys do remember that one of the girls was about to nuke her own gem to kill a familiar right? The tokyo girls /fully/ expect to die by the end of this.
