SayakaQuest Thread 10: Glory To The Death

[x] Blade block boosting up towards Mami, use it as an opener if possible, trying to slam her into the ground or another object

You throw a sword forwards and it explodes into a giant wall of metal. You make a new sword and plant into the side, before you are sent upwards right towards Mami.




You hear a loud thud, as the blade block is torn apart by the gunfire. You're completely protected behind it, and even as the sword disintegrates you still blast past Mami. She stares at you as you pass, as though she's surprised, before you roll backwards off the tail end of the rapidly-disintegrating giant blade.

Shards of it cut both you and the False Mami, before you follow up with a sword and shield.

[x] Keep up the pressure, rending blade combos + shield bashes.




Your sword clangs against her gun and she fires once past your face. You dodge your head just out of the way, before she follows up with a shot to the gut.

You move your gem out of the way as the shot ricochets off of your armor, and you try to bash her skull in with a shield.




She fires again. This time your shield is blown upwards, leaving you wide open, before you try to elbow her in the face.




She shoots once at your elbow, but again, the shot glances off of your armor. The shot is still enough to veer it wildly off-course, and you miss completely.

She levels a gun, attached to her heel, to your face...before suddenly, she dodges a polearm. The shot veers wildly away from you, and you get a good look at the polearm that just came through...and then it segments itself. The pieces wrap around the False Mami's leg, before they pull her down back to earth.

"YOU!"

The body bounces as soon as it hits the ground, and you see Kyouko screaming in rage as she violently tears the leg from the body.

"FUCKING!"

She punches the False Mami in the ribs, before grabbing her by the throat and dragging her across the pavement. The False Mami tries to reform her ribbons, before Kyouko raises a polearm above her chest.

"FRAUD!"

And she jams it into the chest. Blood splatters against the ground as the ribbons keep trying to reform. The False Mami tries to raise herself, before Kyouko shoves her foot into its stomach.

"SHE WAS NOTHING LIKE YOU!"

Not a single roll better than 30. <Pulls out a tiny pennant flag for Sayaka> Yay.

We'd probably manage to stab Kyouko if we tried ourselves.

We only notably failed one defensive roll — the one where she grabbed Sayaka's foot with a ribbon. We also had a partial failure on a boost where Mami shot us as the boost connected.

Defense: 3.5/5

We only succeeded on two offensive rolls: The explosive sword, and the third swing of one of the combo attempts.

Offense: 2/13

Sayaka's average roll was 36.9. Her median roll was 27.5. Mami had an average of 57.3 and a median of 58.

Out of 18 challenges, only 3 of them had Sayaka rolling higher than Mami. Those instances were also Mami's 3 lowest rolls (5, 7, 12), though she rolled another 12 where she still managed to beat Sayaka.

Of Sayaka's last 10 rolls, only one of them managed to surpass 30. 72% of all rolls were 30 or lower.
