SayakaQuest Thread 10: Glory To The Death

Our shield and left arm are outside the front of the building (also amusing: we lost our shield arm the first time we fought her, too); Sora's leg is here inside, and her right hand it out with our shield and arm; and Sora is out the window. We also have a hole in our throat and stomach.

While Sora can't stand up anymore, she still has wings. If we wait here, she'll almost certainly be flying back at us. If we pause to heal, she'll probably have time to start flying before we get outside. However if we rush her, we have to be worried about her flash attack. If she blinds us, we're a sitting duck for her counter, and we can't exactly block our eyes with the left hand right now.

If we can catch her before she can recover from her fall, though, and before she can start flying, we should have a huge attack advantage.

I expect Sora's planned actions to be:
Recover from the tumble
Watch for Sayaka to come through the hole after her; Flash if she does
Fly
Resume attack

I can't see any way to approach her physically that will not put us at a significant disadvantage, but at the same time I don't want to give her time to recover. Since she's going to be readying herself for our approach.....

[x] As soon as you can see her, throw the light saber at her (fast rotation spin) (cutting through her wings would be nice)
[x] Draw your own sword and follow up with a Wave Rend
[x] Be ready to turn away from a Flash attack

Wait why are we throwing away the sword that is around twice as powerful as any attack of our own?
just seems kinda stupid when every bonus helps here.

Is it? I didn't see any extra bonus in the last attack round. Defense is still +45 (sword skill) + 30 (armor). Offense is ... hmm. +70. The previous round is confusing on the offense side, but if I go back far enough... yeah, I think it was +40 before (which matches sword skill).

Ok, skip that idea then.

On the other hand, simply stabbing from the hole out of the building doesn't seem like it'd reach her. Can we Rending Blade with her sword?

The +70 on offence is because we're using Sora's sword yeah, so make sure the vote has us keeping it. Because we want to hang onto it as long as possible. And yes itll probably vanish with Sora but even so its a great help.

I guess we should just dash forward while we have the advantage. We don't want to stop at the hole if we actually want to reach her. Prepare to keep our eyes closed if she tries to Flash, and blind fight for a few seconds?

-[x] Be ready to close our eyes in case of a flash, but don't let it stop the attack
