Ugo, it all really comes down to the fact that Sayaka really can't keep this in any longer. Yes, it hurts Mikimom when she hears about this kind of thing, but the longer Sayaka lets this fester the more it will turn into poison in her veins. We can't let it linger. That's especially dangerous for Magical Girls. Avoiding the problem and burying it is only a short term solution, and a shoddy one at that.

I'm not looking forward to the inevitable RMG when we do need to get more Grief Seeds...so much to do and oh so little time to get everything before the finals.

Ahh, I see. That's a decent concern, but I'm not sure exactly what we can do. Sayaka could ask to speak to her in private, but I don't think she's in the right frame of mind to get that across well. Is she was, she likely wouldn't need to speak to Mikimom and get a handle on herself in the first place.

Your mom pauses, before she just hugs you closer. "Sayaka..."

"I-I'm such an idiot." You sob into her shoulder. "I-I'm a fuckup a-and I c-can't even protect people a-and-!"

Your mom doesn't say anything. You can feel Kyouko resting her hand on your shoulder.

Your mom lets go, and you immediately turn around and pull Kyouko close. She holds you back as you start sobbing messily over her shoulder. Without prompting, she presses a grief seed to your gem.

You take a surprised breath as she does so, and she just squeezes you tight. "...I still love you." She says.

so I finished my archive-binge. anyone else think a certain marshmallow is using UMI to promote witchification? I'd be completely unsurprised to find that is the case.
