SayakaQuest Thread 10: Glory To The Death

[x] Talk

"...You're still a cutie." You blurt out. "Uh..."

"Heh." She smiles. "...Sayaka, I still...ah." She pauses, before she just shakes her head and takes another bite of the burger. After a few minutes, she's done with it, and she just sits across from you.

Then she scoots over. She moves around the edge of the table, and winds up right next to you, before she leans on your shoulder. "...Kyouko?"

"I still love you."

Your smiles grows a little. "Yeah...yeah, me too. I love you, to-" Just as you say that, she grabs the back of your head.

Your name is Naota Takanaba, and you're currently stuck serving food at this restaurant. You stare at the ceiling, then at your hands, as you sit behind the counter. It's then that you notice two girls in a nearby row, immediately pressing their lips together. Nobody else in the restaurant seems to mind, but you also know that it's kind of company policy to keep PDA to a minimum.

Oh Naota, you poor fool.

[x] Talk to them.
-[x] Explain the policy. no need to make it more awkward.

Let's make sure to do this after the kiss has ended. It'd be rude to interrupt in the middle of the kiss, and likely make them upset at us. This would cause even more of a scene, and thus be counterproductive.

What kind of stupid policy is that for a fast food restaurant? Want to preserve the classy atmosphere? There has to be some nuance to it that Naota just didn't get.

[x] Talk to them
-[x] See if they need anything; refills, dessert, doggy bags, subtle reminders about the restaurant's no PDA policy, etc. The usual.

[X] Talk to them
-[X] Be polite. Not a fan of the policy yourself, but policy is policy.

[x] Say nothing.
-[x] Lose job.

[Q] Sister contracts because she feels sorry for her brother and wants to help him.
-[Q] Sister witches out in less than three days, overwhelmed by her new life and the horrors she has witnessed.
--[Q] Sayaka and Kyouko find out they caused a girl to contract and witch out just by kissing in a fast food joint.
---[Q] Even more despair.

Kyubey: You humans do so much to yourselves. In truth, I hardly ever have to do anything at all.

[Q] Watch closely. The ambiguity in the policy necessitates careful adjudication. You must observe longer to see if this is truly a policy violation or simply a momentary indiscretion.
[Q] Keep watching. It's becoming clear that this couple is in violation of the policy but you want to document their behavior in order to present ironclad evidence of their infraction.
[Q] Call boss over. You need a firsthand witness to this misbehavior or else your evidence is inadmissible. Make sure your boss gets a good look.
[Q] Act shocked when your boss calls you sick for watching two girls in their mid teens make out. This is a serious matter. He should understand the gravity of the situation.
[Q] Realize that a line has formed at the register since you began your investigation. Politely tell patrons that they will have to wait; you are busy documenting a rule violation. This is all incredibly serious.
[Q] Finish compiling your report. You have all the evidence you need to safely accuse these young women of public indecency. Are they still going at it? No. They're done. You have failed to strike when the iron is hot.
[Q] Rationalize that you have already filed the report so it would be a waste not to reprimand them. Walk over.

You sigh. "Goddammit, another couple."

Your manager blinks. "Hm? What is it?" She asks.

"We have another couple." You say.

"I'll take care of the cash register." She waves her hand. "Alright?"

"Yeah." You say, before you move over. They're still kissing. Not making out, no tongue, just a long, long kiss. You're not even sure they're breathing. You stare at them as they do so...and eventually, they break apart, with both of them catching their breaths.

"O-Okay, Kyouko." The blue-haired one says. "Uh...yeah. That was...uh..."

"Longest kiss?" Kyouko says.

"Yeah, longest kiss." The blue one says. "...That was...wow."

"...uh...did it suck? Was it bad?"

"No! No, it wasn't." The blue haired one twirled her hair around. "I...okay, I was just kind of surprised." She smiles, before she moves in. "Though...I wouldn't mind-"

"A-hem." You cough into your hand, and immediately, they both jump up in mild surprise. "Uh...company policy? Could you keep the kissing to a minimum in the restaurant?" You say. "Oh, and prefacing because no, you aren't the first gay couple in here. This goes for all couples."

"...I wasn't even going to comment on that." Kyouko murmurs, but you just keep talking.

"I mean, heck, I kissed my boyfriend once here...and almost lost my job and-" The red haired one raises a hand.

"Okay. No kissing my girlfriend. Got it." She crosses her arms. "Fine."

You are now Sayaka again, and your girlfriend is currently holding your hand and talking to the cashier. She sighs. "...Can I at least give her a hug?"

"That's fine...ish. We haven't gotten sued for hugs yet." The man says. "Though...uh...kissing is a no."

"Good." Kyouko smiles, before she squeezes you as tightly as she can. You let out a squeak, before he smiles and walks back to his post.
