Not all of us use the same theme...Flexile Gold has different colors as does the space theme.

"Alright." You say. "We should probably work on the basics a bit more." You have a smile on your face as you start to talk.

Yoko nods a little, while Sukuyo and Tomo both frown. "But it's m-more fun t-to find out what e-else I can d-do!"

"That may be the case, but just coming up with new gimmicks isn't a good replacement for basic skill. You still need to know how to fight with just your weapons."

"But...uh..." Yoko moves up to you. "Your basic weapon is a fist...and you said you were trained?"

You look at your fists, before you clench them tightly. "True enough, but the point is still stands." You frown. "...Also, joint locks are useless against witches."

"...Oh."

[x] When at the dump...

You all reach the dump in a few minutes, and when you do, you clench your fists. "So, who wants to work with who, first?"

Tomo raises her hand and points at you, before Sukuyo shrugs and moves closer to Yoko.

You shrug. "I guess that settles that, then."

[] Just train yourself.

[] Write-in what to do.

Silly newbies, the basics may be boring, but they'll scale so, so well with your bag of tricks. Also, Eagle Claw, AKA joint locks, is of little use against Witches, so yeah, Akane's previous training is kinda useless.

Also, what, did they think that Kyuoko took lessons on how to use that spear in school or something? Not to mention that Sayaka's style is certainly NOT Kendo.

Shironi, are you talking to me? Because honestly, yes, basics are boring. And they allow for our bag of tricks to work better when we try it, right?
 
Next time the newbies go hunting and roll a weak witch, it needs to be mostly humanoid.

Tomo is still Queen of the Nile, but damnit, Akane is the... Hell, I don't know a funny title to assign to Obliviousness.

(EDIT: Actually, maybe Tomo has abdicated and is looking for a timeshare on a Greek Island. Iunno.)
