You both leave the room, and when you do, you shut your door. You're now inside of your own room...and as soon as you close the door, she wraps her arms around your waist.

You pause. "...Kyouko-"

"Are we going to talk?" She asks.

"Yes." You say, quietly. "...We really need to, don't we?"

She rubs her face into your back. "...I almost lost you." She says. "I mean...I could have healed." She clutches onto your sleeves as tightly as she can. "B-but your gem-" She chokes a little.

You want to tell her that it's fine. But you know that you would be lying.

"Y-you almost turned into a witch right in front of me." She says. "I-I could have healed b-but if I didn't give you that fucking grief seed-!"

Kyouko needs this, Sayaka needs to hear this.

Question:
Is it possible for Saya and Koko to grow out of their co-dependence?

I mean, in the event one or the other dies against Walpurgisnight, both might as well be dead since one can't live without the other, which is pretty much a bad end, at best bittersweet, for this quest.

How could you be so thoughtless?
"Do you know how..." She starts to shake. "Y-your gem was so fucking dark. It was so goddamn dark that-!" She lets out a sob. "I can't lose y-you!" She says. "I-I can't lose another person!"

"We talked about it and you didn't listen!" She holds you tighter. "M-maybe I fucked up when I t-talked about your body b-but your fucking gem!" She screams. "You didn't even care about how dark it was!"

You look at the ground. "I didn't..."

"I-I know you love me, but fuck, Sayaka..." Her arms tighten around your waist. "I love you too. B-but don't do this to me!"

You sit on the ground, and she's still got her arms around your waist. You hold her hand as you stare at the ground, and you can hear her sobbing into your back.
