.......There are going to be so many Hadoken jokes I can already tell.
Street Fighter- Bad idea. Mortal Kombat, maybe?
We just need to unlock it before Walpurgis. Is there any way we could fight the bonus boss after Walpurgis, or is that the definitive end?
Unlock. As an option. Not rush straight to. It'd make no sense for Sayaka and company to rush there the day after, do not pass go, do not prepare. Hell, I doubt a canon-esque Sayaka would be that randomly idiotic.Yes. Let us unlock the Bonus Boss who is harder than Walmart Night that we'll be forced to fight with less people because Homu won't care and we'll probably take losses against walmart night.
That sounds like a wonderful way of marching Kyo/Saya to their deaths shortly after Walmart Night is defeated, thus invalidating all the effort we put into surviving Walmart Night and working towards a somewhat 'happily ever after' ending.
...Unless there's a time skip power up involved and a mass recruitment of MG's from somewhere. But since this is a Moid Quest and we cannot have nice things, I doubt it. Seriously, I expect that if we DO fight the bonus boss we won't even get what little plot shielding Kyo/Saya have now, so say goodbye to those 3 retries and hello to the dice fucking us over straight to a Bad End with no take backs.
Didn't Moid say we'd get five tries to beat it?Seriously, I expect that if we DO fight the bonus boss we won't even get what little plot shielding Kyo/Saya have now, so say goodbye to those 3 retries and hello to the dice fucking us over straight to a Bad End with no take backs.
If we're going for early endings, I like the one where Sayaka and Kyouko walk into and vanish in the forest mist before the credits roll. There's also the fact that post-Walpurgisnacht Sayaka is almost certainly gonna be stronger, particularly if it's been weeks or months since then. Sure, we won't have Homura, but given that Homura apparently loses access to timestop at the end of a loop and her documented poor record against Walpys with it, that's not much of a loss. Meanwhile, Akane, Tomo, Sukuyo, and Yoko will either be far more skilled or in the grave.
But really, even if we die to Aokigahara's Walpurgisnacht, I can just declare it to be a Secret Hidden Bad End and ignore it for the one where Kyouko and Sayaka survive, overcome their PTSD, get married, and live to ripe old age with ten inexplicably-born children.

But let's go for the one where Sayaka and Kyouko are sitting on the mountain of grief seeds. That could actually be quite a poignant ending now that I've tried to imagine it, leaving it up to the readers' imagination to decide what happens to them![]()
Or just one, but it's the size of a small car and shaped like a trophy for some reason. But let's go for the one where Sayaka and Kyouko are sitting on the mountain of grief seeds.![]()
Terrible ending for a quest, though. That could actually be quite a poignant ending now that I've tried to imagine it, leaving it up to the readers' imagination to decide what happens to them![]()
Everyone died. Kyouko witched out. Sayaka now has to roll above a 50 on the d100 to keep from witching out with every post. Madoka contracted. Homura witched out. Mami came back from the dead just to witch out. Everything is awful forever. So I've been away from the quest for a little while, what'd I miss?
And then SEELE invaded.Everyone died. Kyouko witched out. Sayaka now has to roll above a 50 on the d100 to keep from witching out with every post. Madoka contracted. Homura witched out. Mami came back from the dead just to witch out. Everything is awful forever.
They brought in their ultimate weapons.
