The Grey Wolves March 1, Day 2 To Springdorm.

- [x] Train Crossbow: Rolled:
1D100 => 88 Skill up by: 1D10 => 5

The night you set up a target, one of the bales of hay for the horses when the company traveled through dry lands during winter. The winter was still a few moons away, but there was never such a thing as being to cautious.

As you practice, you seemed to gather a crowd.

Fritz smiled. "Don't fuck up new blood." The words were as encouraging as they were useful, as to say, they were fucking useless.

Kai, the Ranger, said something much more useful. "Squeeze the trigger slowly, and push the stock into your shoulder to keep accuracy, and before you fire hold your breath."

You took aim at the bal of hay. You followed Kai's advice, and fired.

It missed, shooting wide and striking the ground.

"Fuck!" You shouted.

The crowd dissipated, and coins traded hands.

But you got better. A little bit.

Reward: Inventory gained: 10 Crossbow Bolts, Crossbow. Crossbow skill up by 5.

- [x]Train Your Dogs: You need to make sure your dogs are in top shape. Rolled:
1D100 => 86

Your dogs were good… very good at the game of war.

They bare their teeth when asked, follow your commands even though the loud screams of the Captain's marching songs, and the hustle and bustle of camp.

They were perfect enough for battle, as long as they stuck together.

Reward: Dogs stats learned. Stats set at 80.

Jon:
Teeth (Damage per Attack):80
Pack (Teamwork between dogs):80
Intelligence (Ability to Dodge Attacks):80

Dan:
Teeth (Damage per Attack):80
Pack (Teamwork between dogs):80
Intelligence (Ability to Dodge Attacks):80

Mal:
Teeth (Damage per Attack):80
Pack (Teamwork between dogs):80
Intelligence (Ability to Dodge Attacks):80

Wolves Roll:
1D100 => 5

You saw the butchered corpses of the wolves you had gathered earlier in the day. "You killed them?" You asked.

"Aye." The Captain said.

"Why?" You asked.

The captain gave you a glare. "Whatever killed their mother is taking their scent. If we take them with us, we'll all be fucked." Your confused look made the old man sighs in weariness. "They were left alive as bait. And we might be lucky enough for it to lose the scent."

"What is hunting us sir?"

"Wyverns." The Captain replied. "But thankfully, not the dangerous kinds. And maybe, we can outrun it."

Road Side roll:
1D100 => 2

"Wyverns!" Kai shouted, as the company ran to a formation.

The forest erupted and the roar pierced the air.

Wyvern Composition Roll:
1D3 => 1

There were two Wyvren's , but the beasts were injured, very heavily, the green blood were exiting large wounds from their bodies.

But they were still massive, the size of two horses.

They were babies, but that did not mean they could not kill you all.

"FORMATION!" The Captain bellowed.

You took up the formation next to Fritz, at the left end of the line.

Your dogs barked like mad, their mouths foaming with saliva.

Shields locked, spears and swords were at the ready, andLeon blew the Horn.

The Grey Wolves were ready for battle.

Battle Begins!

Two Wyverns are 300 meters away and closing.

The Grey Wolves are in Shieldwall formation, with the Liners and Zweihanders in front and archers, the sargent, Captain, and You are in the back line, directly behind the line.

What do you do? (Due to not leading or commanding the company, you cannot directly order people around and all orders given will automatically be followed.):

[]Hold onto The Dogs: The Captain hasn't asked you to release them yet.

[]Take Aim with your Crossbow: You need to steady your aim.

[]Hold onto Fritz: Fritz looks terrified, a reassuring hand may steady him.

[]Listen to the Captains speech: Damn the man can speak.

AN: I warned you that this was insanity difficulty.

These stats are very good, but still improvable. I say we focus on getting Intelligence up to maximum first (in order to increase the survivability of the three of them), followed by Pack (it'll increase the damage and distraction capabilities of Jon, Dan and Mal since they'd be working together better) and damage being last (What use is damage if you can't survive long enough to use it or work with your equally powerful pack mates?).

AN: I warned you that this was insanity difficulty.

I! REGRET! NOTHING!

[]Hold onto The Dogs: The Captain hasn't asked you to release them yet.

-Since we automatically follow orders given and the dogs have been shown to be quite obedient as well. Although have went off into the woods without permission so. The captain did tell us to keep them close, so it's best we do so.

[]Take Aim with your Crossbow: You need to steady your aim.

-Not our strength.

[]Hold onto Fritz: Fritz looks terrified, a reassuring hand may steady him.

-He'll still fulfill his dutyas a liner, even if he's scared.

[]Listen to the Captains speech: Damn the man can speak.

-We'll follow orders automatically, so best if we hold onto the dogs and minimize any screw up on our end.

[X]Hold onto The Dogs: The Captain hasn't asked you to release them yet.

What a waste, he killed the wolves and the Wyverns still attacked us.
Quick question, that D3 roll for composition, was it batter to roll high or low?

here's hoping our archers roll well, otherwise we might lose someone in the first fight.
