I'd hope so to be honest. Otherwise it feels slightly tilted in that sense.

The 'good guys' have numbers and power advantage as well as a base in orbit.

The 'bad guys' have a series of incompetent creatures, easily defeatable monsters and all we have is a speed and territory advantage in certain areas

Yeah, an Undersea Outpost does make a modicum of sense. I mean around less than 5% of the Oceans actually been explored, so your bound to be able to find a hiding place for one.

Might be going slight off topic here but why do I feel like I'm going to have to rein shadow shinobi in at times because that bombing idea has not given me a lot of trust
 
Great first time out of state and she's gotta help save the day.

...And she's probably gonna be there indefinitely, this is gonna end up being an awkward phone call to the folks.

Or and I'm just spitballing here, don't tell them at all or better yet, get someone to say that you've gone missing in the wildernes

You know what that's a much better idea maybe make a panicked call about how your lost before screaming with animal noises in the back ground so it sounds like you were just killed by animals.

That is a great idea but you'd have to destroy the phone otherwise it could be traced. You'd also have to actually enter the woods as well in case of triangulation.
 
The whole "died out in the wilderness" thing seems a bit much to be honest, her family would be worried about her and there'd be search parties sent out to try to find her.

I can see why you think that but trust me, it's perfectly logical. You see.... what matters is....... I've got nothing but it's been a nice little talk we've had here
