[x] What's your history with magic?

Would that do?
Sunset figured what Negi's history with magic by her own self—he's a mage, probably a prodigy. Unless, of course, you mean something more specific, in which, be more specific.

Note: Seriously. I'm not a bad writer, but I can't just write properly when you guys just give me a single topic to write. I'm giving you guys a write-in vote. You can make plans on what to do, etc. Do whatever(Subject to my approval, of course. Especially when it's something OOC for Sunset)

Is there any reason not to go full disclosure right now? We have a local friendly magic user, if nothing else it's a good contact to have.

Because while Negi is nice and seemingly trustable, Sunset won't just go full disclosure about herself to a boy she just recently met just because he's a 'local friendly magic user'. It would be incredibly OOC for Sunset to do just that—because she's not the kind of gal that would immediately trust someone because said someone is nice/good. That's Negi's schtick.

Our situation is such that we don't really have much to hide, and more to the point, trying to do so is actually far more suspicious than just telling flat out the key facts. I mean, not that Negi of all people will be suspicious of us, he's a kind and naive 10 year old boy, but still, trying to evade and bullshit our way while knowing incredibly little about the local magic community and such would be get people far more wary of us than going "I'm not from this world, I got here through a magical accident and I'm entirely unfamiliar with the local situation."

Essentially, trying to hide it is far too likely to show that we are hiding something, we are not good enough nor have enough knowledge of local matters to actually succeed at it, while our actual story is pretty much harmless.

Mind you, I'm not saying that we should tell him about our Spat with Celestia at this time, at least not in any real detail, just the "I'm not from this world nor have any knowledge of it other than what I've acquired the last few months." bits.

Sunset is not trying to hide it. Heck, in fact, she's flaunting it around by teleporting around willy nilly. She just won't tell that she came from another world unless it's relevant, which considering current situation, it is most certainly not.

Frankly speaking, if Sunset is directly asked about her origin, you will be given the chance to lie or not. As it currently is, Negi simply assumes that Sunset is some genius or extremely skilled mage. Another thing would be that Sunset won't voluntarily reveal her origin to somehow she had just introduced with in less than 24 hours.

[x] So, should I expect more people like those two girls to appear? Should I expect more or less hostility?

A bit unfamiliar and rather lazy/occupied irl to think 'bout something better in social/awkwardness stuff, so a "let's speak about kinda-supposedly-relevant stuff" placeholder is a go for now. At the very least imao it's better than alternative of asking Negi to leave. And mb either I would write something decent later or someone else would do the job.

Hmm... We could tell him we weren't Chanting for our magic cause we don't know how. Throw a few reasons our Master/Teacher might not have taught us, like the Chantless Fireball they found us by, or maybe they were training our endurance, or soemthing, but we never completed our training with them due to a falling out, so maybe they had just been waiting to teach us until sometime later?

I was doing calculus because I don't know how to do arithmetic.

Chantless casting isn't something we have to justify, so let's not.

[X] Are you a vampire too or something?

It is kinda weird for a ten-year-old to be a teacher, so it would make sense for him to be older than he looks.

Not so weird in Sunset's eyes, really. I think I already wrote a line or two somewhere, in which Sunset assumes that Negi is probably a genius child like her.

Edit: Also, for the sake of making the update longer, you could vote for more than one thing. So, you don't need to ask just a single question. Heck, to make it better, you can make a plan on how to go about this.

Example:

[] Plan Train
-[] Asks Negi more about himself
--[] Ask if Negi would be open for tomorrow. Child or no, having a sparring partner is always nice.
---[] Ask Negi if he knows anyone in your class that knows the existence of Magic
----[] Just what is Evangeline, anyway?

[X]So... think summer, think... That's a nice staff you have there. Where ya get it? Yes, a neutral topic that should get rid of the awkwardness. Wait, why is he crying! Damn it!

This vote is likely horribly OC for sunset and Negi since I doubt he would burst into tears like that since we haven't pushed him that far, but it was too funny not to write.

-[X] How did you get involved in the altercation last night
-[X] What's a Mage doing teaching English

I agree that we probably can't make up a good cover story right now so let's just change the topic away from who we are to Evangeline and Negi. Hopefully we stall off explanations long enough to do some reading and come up with something in character and plausible.

a meat bun today, cannibalizing other pony's tomorrow!!!

[x] So what's a ten year old mage doing teaching english in Japan.
-[x] Is there anything else i should know about my classmates.

i feel are more direct but yeah asking questions about them seems like a better plan.

@SoothingCoffee, your last post kind of needs to be run through a proofreader again. I'm sorry. It's just that sometimes your posts are okay and sometimes they have errors everywhere, and this is one of the latter times. Please don't take offense.

[x] Anything important I missed in today's class?
safe topic not too prying and most importantly leads to us spending time with negi so we can hopefully start trusting him a bit further than we can throw him.
