We currently have two armies that's not even really enough to defend ourselves from any of our neighbours at this point even forli has an elite army to our two regular armies and most others are aligned with major powers so being neutral and staying out of it is the best option.
The only way we'd gain? Something maybe is if we became a vassal of the H.R.R when they try to claim Naples and work our way up the enlarged empire from there, though I'd only go that route if the German armies were marching into Italy as we really don't have anything to stop them at the moment.

Could we make sure a war happens? i want the french not to have a good time, so a other war will make sure of that, just have to make it look like they start the war
 
Well I'd be calling the vote right now except there are no plans, so can't really do anything

I'd change the trade deal to the league of Byzantium, it might help lower the tensions, benefit the ruling templars and provide more benefits to us than a trade deal with the Papal States.
Apollonio is to young to join but we could send a letter to ruxandra though we could also send a letter to Juan to tell him about Solomon's writings to increase our Templar standing.

You still have an advisor action and another free action available so you could have elena continue her experiments, expand mines or increase aid to colonies as an example of three actions to choose from. Maybe as an action have the cento occhi tech Sophia swallows how to steal from targets to improve their value.

We smuggled goods to wallachia a while ago using land routes and Byzantium shares a border with wallachia. A land trade route to Byzantium would only go through countries that are we either have a trade deal with or are neutral towards us. Plus I'm pretty sure we have enough trade ships leftover for one more sea trade lane to be established before we need more trade ships, I could be wrong though.


If you want to do the trade deal with Byzantium and are unsure if there's enough ships you could use one of the unused actions in an attempt to acquire more trading ships.

guess Thule wins, hopefully dice won't do anything screwy
 
Kinda hurts to say but I think with the lack of participation in this quest it may be time to put it on hiatus at the very least, can't even get enough rolls for the update
