Your mind is now filled with knowlege and you suddenly realise what those weird tables do! You normally use them as a place to hold your coffee, you also finally know what all those weird crystal things! They actually do things other then look pretty! your collection has an actual purpose!
Unfortantly you suck at enchantments you decide to focus on making your summoning spells cheeper, you figure that you can always use your gun if it comes to it but summons have saved your ass one time too many to ignore them. You also enchant your wifes armor. She watches with amusment.
"Coming to bed soon?"
"Yeah figured out how to enchant stuff."
She stares at you blankly.
"Use magic to make things better."
"Come to bed."
She kisses you on the neck and you go.

With the supermutant seige over, the brother hood arrives to pick up three dog. The blond woman who leads them looks tired. She looks around megaton with wonder.
You step forward.
"Your the wizard?"
"Yeah."
"I've heard about you, you do good work. Its a shame what happened to Galaxy news radio."
"Lets take it back."
"The place is covered by mutants."
You sigh.
"You been to rivet city?"
She nods.
"A couple of our scribes are in the ship, their working with the captives and rivet city. The energy weapons and bots are helping but it would be so much eaiser if it was closer to the citadel."
"There are robots there send an army to GNR and."
"Some one would have to lead the bots, they get lost easy, they help a lot, don't get me wrong moving underground is a lot easier these days but once their out of range their usefulness goes down."
You wife nods.
"I can lead them using my pip boy."
Sarah lions eyes close.
"We need GNR up and running even with the crappy range it helps us alot. I wish Elder Elijah would get here sooner."
"Explain?"
"The leader of the mojavi chapter, he was fighting a war with the NCR when he heard about the ship he was able to get a treaty. Whole chapter is leaving, Ellijahs subborn but he's aggreed to leave the actual fighting and command decisions to my dad. Their coming by air ship in a couple weeks."
"And?"
"No where near as many people as the we have, we have been recruting for awhile but they have better armor, more scribes and better weapons."
You shrug and stare forward.
"We agree to the idea, lead out a force of robots and radio us when you get there."
With that done you make the drive to Rivet city, the robot presence is greater now. Once there they put all the manufactering capability rivet city has into robots for an entire week. Armed with your new robot army you set out into the tunnels.
Its quiet until you hear the laughing of the super mutant army.
Then your robot army emergies in the darness.
"Im going to use my new night vision scope."
Elsa aims her alien rifle carefully and pulls the trigger, your not skilled enough to join her sniping but you watch as the guards are killed.
"Summon some thing nasty."
You summon a ice thrall and send it forward. The supermutants do not notice it until its in their mists and then they attack. They win but are slowed down.
"Go out there spread havok I will lead from here."
You cast an invisability spell and sneak out. The bots make a pincer movement and then fire enmass. The super mutants are undisaplined but they fight back.
"Kill."
You place a rune infront of the leaders feet and he explodes into Icy chunks. You then look for and target any one in charge. Your not going to win a stand up fight but you can alter the battlefield and destroy their leadership. Finally the bots dismantle the supermutants in the front and go into the GNR building you hear a loud noise and see a behemouth. You also see a fat man being held by a dead brother.
You swipe it and head up the stares the creature screams and starts smashing the bots your fat man slams into its legs and it falls to the ground. The creature still lives but with a missing leg. You fire shots at it on high as the bots blast it. Eventally it dies. With that done you sneak in to GNR head quarters and finish off the last few mutants.
Half of your bots are now destroyed, but the remaing ones create a formidable defense. Sarah lions arrives with three dog, his surviving crew and some brother hood intitiates.
"Well well well if it isnt the wizard and the lone wanderer."
He shakes your hands.
"Thanks I cant tell you how much this means to me."
"Any thing else?"
"The mutants damaged some of the electronics, we need a new dish for our relay station and of course some new tunes."

Holy crap! Elijah, the tech-genius Elder from Fallout: New vegas is coming here?! This is going to be hilariously awesome!
Can you please clarify what this is? I don't remember anything about a book quest, other than that repeatable book quest, Yearning for Learning, and I'm not sure why that would be all that important of a quest to consider.

The dish is useful for enhancing the radio range, while having more music is another luxury. But both are useless if the actual broadcasting radio is damaged to begin with.

The enchantment increase is obvious, it's just about the most useful skill for passive boosts. Destruction because it's the main source of our direct firepower.
As for the perks, this is the route to get us to the perk, Twin souls, where we can finally summon 2 things instead of one. The perks themselves are also very useful, since Atromancy doubles the duration for anything conjured, while the Elemental Potency increases the power of the summons by 50%, including even Dremora Lord. that means they'll have 50% more attack power, and 50% more HP to tank hits. Overall, we're about to gain the last and the strongest perk of the Conjuration school tree.

You travel to vault 101 and wait outside in you car.
The supermutants lost quite a few of their people during the siege and lost more when you retook GNR. There are still plenty more but for now the capital wastes are mostly quiet the brotherhood has responded to this by digging in to their defenses.
Elsa comes out with a couple tunnel snakes they put some equipment onto the truck.
"Whats that?"
"the Vaults radio system, Anna's working on another one but since we don't use it all that much well its going to the cause."
You drive down to Rivet city, a detachment of brotherhood intitiates and rivet city agents help you get every thing to GNR, robots patrol the subway and you arrive at the armed GNR studios.
"Good job we will take it from here."
"Anything else?"
"Not right now."
Its uneventful and you go back to rivet city.

Note: We have Conjure Food and Conjure Water on our list of known spells (plus Frostbite that basically conjures ice). Maybe see if we can teach this to James, or at least the Conjure Water one. I'm sure this could interest him and maybe he could help us apply the scientific method to our magic.
If we could teach it to James, he could help us teach at least the basic spells to more people. That, and maybe work on a way to add magic to Project Purity.

"Well Im working with scribes, the other scientists and even a couple people from the prewar days its all facisnating technology. Admitedly the food while filling could use some improvments."
"Worms are what they had dad."
"Didn't say they were bad, in fact once made into sausages their quite decent and its plentiful if nothing else."
"Megaton has better food."
"Agreed some of the best coffee I've ever tasted."
He turns to you.
"You've done some impresive things, water, food, better walls. I visited megaton. I was impressed. Your mastery of science is impressive."

You summon a frost elemental it breaths and stares at him.

This seemed to have not been updated yet from the leveling up.
Also, did we get to enchant things like rings, necklaces and shoes with fortify conjuration or destruction? I know we wouldn't enchant the unique wizard's robe armor set yet until we have more skills and perks into enchantment, but surely other pieces of equipment can be enchanted right?

"Easy the pay?"
You hand him a slip of paper.
"Turn this in to the techs and you will walk out with a laser rifle, a couple thousand rounds of ammo for the damned thing and a suit of amor."
"And."
"When you get back your will have a thousand caps."
"I want it up front."
"You have not proven that your good enough to get it all upfront you get weapons and armor as half your payment and the caps after you pull it off."
"I want to learn magic."
"Excuse me?"
"Your a wizard right? I pull this off I want some spells."

Butch nods and leaves.

You leave on foot towards the vault loaded with the best armor the two of you can get and lots of stims and rad away and rad X.
It rains, it hardly ever rains in the capital wastes but its raining today, the two of you walk slowly through the rain until you get to little lamplight.
"Craddy?"
"Ah its the fucking wizard."
"I need to get to a vault and you guys have the best access to it."
"And what do we get in fucking exchange."
You set down a bag.
"Candy."
"Really candy? Your going to try bribing me with candy do you think Im a fucking idiot."
"No."
"I HAVE FREE CANDY IF YOU LET ME IN!"
Craddy's mouth drops as children rush forward, you smile as the whining starts and get progressivly worse. He mouths the words 'you prick.'
The doors open the two of you walk in and the children gorge themselves on candy.
"You suck you know that right you fucking suck."
"Tell me where the door is."
He sighes.
"Ten stem packs."
"Five"
"Ass."
You hand it over and go in back and to your surprise and horror find supermutants in the caves. You use a mixture of stealth summons and sniping and kill them one by one until you find a metalic door you both inject some Rad X and enter the Super mutants lair. You see blood splatters there has clearly been a fight of some kind.
There are still super mutants and you kill any who stand in your way until you hear a voice.
"Help? Help?"

You stare at Elsa.
"He might know where the GECK is."
"I would be willing to get it for you!"
You sigh and fight your way into the back rooms and find a way to release the poor creature, he runs off and returns with a suit case.
"Thank you for freeing me."
The two of you run off eager to escape the supermutant hideout and then every thing goes white. You wake up in a lab chained to the wall.
"You are not needed."
He shoots you and you feel yourself bleeding out, you hide a healing spell while he interrogates Elsa. You cant make it out until the last part.
"Well we will pry the code out of you later for now we have a project to ennact."
Eventally the bindings drop you take a deep breath in.
"Elan."
"Cant get rid of me that easily."
She chuckles "right wizard."
"This is president Eden and I wish to speak to you, you will find your eqiupment in the box over there."
You get your stuff and slowly move towards the president and to your shock find out he's an AI. He gives you a virus to taint the water. Elsas face scrunches up in disgust and she hacks the thing. You run out, your weapons have minimal effectiveness against this enclave but the rouge robots destract them.
You get out before Raven rock seals itself, you hear and explosion and see smoke rising from the door.
"Hello it is good to see you survived!"
The friendly supermutant carries a energy weapon of some kind.
"Um good to see you."
"Mind if I travel with you?"
You look at Elsa and she shrugs.
"You really want to tell him no?"
"Sure!"
Now that you have escaped you.
(X) go to the brother hood, they need to know about the super mutant hide out.
(X) go to rivet city their closest to Project purity
(X) Go home and get some rest
