Reminder: Exalted demons are not Christian demons, and may well be perfectly reasonable people to negotiate with when summoned. 'Rampage' may well never be on the cards, because the demon is more interested in cultivating good relations with somebody who can provide them with time in Not Hell.
That just means they aren't evil for the sake of evil. Instead, they're viciously destructive and dangerous or capricious and cruel in ways that make a great deal of internal sense to them. I'm sure somewhere there are Second Circle demons who wouldn't be terrible news to unleash on Creation, but all the most famous ones, um, aren't.

Octavian: Powerful demonic warlord.

Mara: Masterful seductress and manipulator who thrives on cruelty and corruption.

Florivet: Violent asshole who scars women with acid when he gets offended.

Alvuea: Turns people into weapons.

Zsofika: Ritually hunts and eats people.

I know of a few whose names I can't recall who were less offensive. One mostly just likes books, another dude lives to make bargains and IIRC holds his end up and is pretty genuine about it. But just because they aren't standard conceptions of wicked monsters who want the entire world dead, doesn't make them mostly reasonable sorts. They're alien monsters who are kept outside of the world for a very good reason. You can deal with them, but it's not often a good idea, and unleashing them is almost guaranteed to have serious adverse consequences for basically anyone who crosses their paths.

They are, in the end, still demons.

I think you're overstating the case, but this belongs in the megathread.

Exactly this. The demon is very likely to cut a deal with someone who can pull them out of Malfeas regardless of bindings rather then bite the hand that feeds them.* Many demons would kill to have an in with a competent terrestrial sorcerer who can get them access to creation. Of course that sorcerer is making a literal deal with a devil so it might not turn out to well even without the rampaging.

*This does not apply universally. Don't summon third circle souls of Metagos without a chain mail glove.

Let's say you wish to accelerate time within an area. Terrestrial or celestial circle?

Most High provides.

[ ] The Sundial Throne [Solar Circle, Ambition 3] - At the center of the Satrapal palace is the Throne Room, symbol of the King's authority, prestige, and the adulation of his people. By converting the throne room into a sorcerously-charged hermetic chamber, and focusing Solar light on it with a series of extremely powerful mirrors, the Solar Sorcerer creates a time-piece whose magnificence is answer to his own. So long as he rules his nation in name and in truth, time in the Throne Room (which can, of course, become a training chamber or sorcerous workshop) passes (Essence) times faster than in the outside world; five days to one, at current reckoning. The maximum size of the area thus affected is (Essence x 100) square meters.

The floating palace.

The sorcerer casts the spell in the middle of the day, while the sun itself is at the peak of its journey. As the spell is cast, the sunbeams from above coalescace and collect together, forming a massive palace and island above the sorcerer's head, due to the sorcerer's desires.

The sorcerer may design the island in whatever way he wishes. Groves of trees, forests, gardens, lakes, small rivers, and even boulders and small hills, as well as the palace itself. No matter what, it is always pleasing to the eye and in accordance to the caster's subconscious wishes. A caster with a love of flowers will get gardens. One who misses fishing while in the Southern deserts will get ponds and lakes. One that likes luxury will find that the palace has carpets, drapes, tinted windows, etc. One that lives as a monk will find it plain.

In addition to the palace itself, there are 1000 servitors within, serving as helpers for guests, cooks, cleaners, and other things. None can fight, but can defend themselves or dangers to the sorcerer and his companions.

A/n: Damn, didnt turn out too well. Trying to make something that a decadent first age sorcerer would make.

That's not how Exalted works. "An Exalt" is not an answer. Exalts are not omnipotent. They do not have limitless potential. They have restrictions and themes. "MemeExalted" needs to die in a fire. Exalts cannot casually change the laws of Creation. They can alter them locally or shift them subtly, via powerful workings of Sorcery, but it's not easy to do so.

Say you had some white jade and a bunch of bones from a legendary tyrant lizard, as well as a desire to make them into a badass dire lance. What kind of themes for evocations would come from those two things?

A charge with the force of those Tyrant Lizards that were trained to "surf" on avalanches?
Yes, that was an actual thing some First Age Solar decided to do.

Predatory instinct and skill, unrelenting strength, fear of the prey. The Circle of life, prey and predator as a natural part of existence etc.

So maybe enhancers to track a particular target, damage adders or even heal effects. Along with camouflage effects or throw enhancers, or emotion effects based on being a rabbit in the jaw of fox etc. It's a pretty large category.

-Spear produces a giant spectral tyrant lizard for intimidation purposes.

-Throw spear, bones temporarily reassemble themselves into skeletal tyrant lizard that fights for you.

-Spear causes actual tyrant lizards to see you as a particularly remarkable example of their kind; as a general rule they'll behave submissively towards you.

Spear summons up a tyrant lizard of stone to charge with it as the capstone. Remainder built around an Irresistable/Inevitable force theme .

For a weapon made of Tyrant Lizard bones primarily, I'd go with themes of ferocity and relentless hunting. Highly destructive charges (maybe a massive area of effect slam on impact - you may not be as big as a Tyrant Lizard visually, but the weapon says you totally are the size of a bus and a half on a spiritual level, so everyone goes off flying like what rammed into the formation was twenty tons of angry muscle instead of a dude with a spear), grievous wounds, tracking down wounded foes relentlessly, and terrifying battlefield presence.

You say it was a legendary tyrant lizard, but what was its legend? What did it do to rise above the teeming predacious masses? What heroes did it devour, what civilizations did it menace, what stories did it thoughtlessly trample in pursuit of its goals? A heroic familiar who tore its way through invading Wyld legions to avenge its Solar master by devouring the Raksha Noble who murdered him has a very different essence than a preternaturally cunning beast who gained terrifying elemental powers by stalking and devouring Dragon-Blooded. Both are legendary tyrant lizards, but the evocation themes they suggest are very different beyond the of the basics.

I've found that it's generally better to have more specificity and detail, particularly for artifacts but also for workings or other magics. It provides both a source of inspiration and a framework that provide limits and structure. If this artifact is not new, you should also have to consider who created it and why, as well as what it was used for over the ages. For some artifacts this may actually be just as important or even more important.
