OK found some errors in this, but you seem to have gotten most of the errors out of the text before posting it:

Deep within the hidden recesses of her mind and soul, the place she consigned her most shameful and unworthy thoughts and opinions, Sophia felt her disappointment in her mother-in-law get eroded day by day due to dealing with Aseryah's rambunctiousness.

"the place she consigned her most shameful and unworthy thoughts and opinions to," not "the place she consigned her most shameful and unworthy thoughts and opinions,"

Do not get her wrong, Anora was fairly devout adherent to The Starmother.

"Anora was a fairly devout" not "Anora was fairly devout"

If she was destined to be 'Child of the Storm' than it damn well would be under her own terms.

"destined to be 'The Child of the Storm' then" not "destined to be 'Child of the Storm' than"

And if the central figures of the Southern pantheon felt slighted by the... political nature that prompted the project, well, too bad for them.

(Twin Joint Cathedrals of Camny and Satine built, morale up; all attrition reduced; further religious actions unlocked; priesthood of the southern pantheon strengthened)

"Southern Pantheon" not "Southern pantheon" nor "southern pantheon"

"the place she consigned her most shameful and unworthy thoughts and opinions to," not "the place she consigned her most shameful and unworthy thoughts and opinions,"

I believe both are grammatically correct. It a descriptive clause, describing the hidden recesses of her mind, so there is no need for the "to" at the end of the clause.

I'd probably wouldn't use the "to" either, since it distracts from the focus of description.

A quick update

Unfortunately, more delays are inbound :(
Only until Thursday however.
I'm covering for a colleague, and he'll return the favor down the line.

Setup Turn 2.2.4.5
Sorry for the further delays, RL problems I'm afraid, but, mostly, war turns had gotten some of my creative muscles flexing, juices flowing and ideas a-cooking so I was working on some original content.
So, this is more in the nature of interlude, with the proper update coming within next 50-60h

First of all, let's deal with kid's education, shall we?

Also, here are the sheets for Thom's sons and Taesta's daughter

Heinrich and Seigrich

The twin scions of the firstborn prince give credence to the old theory that, at least some, twins are a case of a single soul with multiple bodies.
Not that that is in any way true. But the eerie similarities, physical, mental and spiritual between the two could not be understated.
Ferociously intelligent, everyone claimed they were easily equivalent to their aunt, queen Anora, though, thankfully with none of her more unenviable traits.
Posessed of the steady nature of both of their parents and by virtue of being the eldest of their generation, the unofficial duty to ride herd on their younger cousins was... entrusted upon them, without anyone ever actually thinking about it. It was simply something that happened spontaneously. While most young children would have resented such an unfair state of affairs, the twins took it up in good humor, belying their maturity well in advance of their years.

Genius - +2base to all attributes. Inheritable
You are gifted at everything you do.
Solid, steady and sober +1 D, +1 I, +2 S, inheritable
You were never going to be the life of the party, but people know they can rely on you.
Beast tamer - +2M +1I +1S, moderate chance to gain monster retinue
Some nobles raise fluffy or entertaining pets for a hobby. You raise beasts of war and utility.
Strong, steadfast and steady - +2M +2S base, +1D, +1P, inheritable
Whatever happens around you, you've always been able to soldier on, your shoulders broad enough to bare more than just your burdens.
Trained Fighter - +1M
You have been trained from an early age to the ways of combat.
Experienced Trainer - +1S
Trainee Ranger - +1M
Gifted Student - +1M, +1S
You are an absolute joy to teach for your tutors.
Spark Traits:
Battlefield Presence - Every foe within your visual range suffers 20% morale penalty. (does not stack)
At your right-hand war is your sword, at your left-hand valor your shield. What foe could stand and face you?
Battlefield Beacon (beast) - +1M, So long as you are known to be upon the field, those of your units relying on animals have unbreakable morale
The animals trained and handled by you always know when you are around. They love you. They revere you. And, for you? They will Fight!
Self-sustaining - +1M, +1I, significantly lessened maluses if held in captivity and/or stuck in the wilderness
The very Spark strumming through your veins sustain you far further than mere mortal food, drink, and sleep should account for.
Bond of the Wilds - Guaranteed beast retinue
(Heinrich) Farstrider Hippogryph - +2M, +1D, +1L
While no Hippogryph ever could be called slow, most subspecies are geared more towards lightning-fast dashes rather than sustained efforts. Not so with these specially bred, ibis-headed pintos.
(Seigrich) Battlejack - +1M, +1I, +1S, +1P
Masters at the college of animal husbandry postulate that the rarely occurring, especially large and aggressive Jackalopes are a result of natural and situational adaptation, providing ready protectors for the herds. The herders themselves prescribe to the theory that the Battlejacks come from the forest goddess Shyra who is often described clothed in Jackalope fur and ornaments made out of jackalope horns and incisors.

Aseryah
Taesta's firstborn is her father's child through and through, to the eternal chagrin and consternation of her mother.
Wild, irascible, free-spirited and confrontational, she was a terror of the nurseries and would have been more than a handful, had her elder cousins not been around to metaphorically and literally sit upon her when the situation deemed it necessary.
Nonetheless, if there is one thing her mother did manage to instill in her wayward daughter it was that of those who have much, much is also expected. Some might even say that she had taken to the lessons on generosity and forgiveness a bit too well.
But, mostly, the one facet of Aseryah that would go down in history was her sheer creative brilliance.

Well, our nephews got the war leader covered, and the niece has architecture covered for the next generation. So I think we need Botany, and maybe Alchemy. Either Governance or Medicine for the last pick I think.

[X] All three children will get specialized education (can take maximum two specializations; specializations can be taken multiple times).
-[X] Thalia
--[X] Botany
-[X] Anastacio
--[X] Alchemy
-[x] Tessa

Since we don't know attributes yet, might as well give Botany to Thalia since her name means to bloom.

We might as well go max with the specializations. The whole thing is a gamble, but like Taesta showed what matters is what they bring to the table through those synergies.

[] Plan: Fix?

Plan: Branch Again is focused on getting that Intrigue issue we seem to have spread into something we can use. The last time, I had 2 of the kids specialize into Military with one additional school for synergy. The third child was placed into a support position through medicine and knowledge. This time I have 2 focused on Intrigue with a balance of a normal education, and one focused on the support role.

Is it just me, or is the Intrigue base number wrong for Aseryah? I thought Tasakar have a base of 15 in each attribute at minimum because they are Tasakar.

My thoughts here are that now that we are expanding, probably doubling each generation, we ought to get a better food supply, develop our medical and chemical resources, and also establish governance and law as now would be the best time to lay the groundwork for that.

Yes, each child can have two specializations. A specialization can also be taken multiple times. Which means the plan I showed you of the x2 should be valid. Kinda silly to double down on a specialization when synergy gives us a lot, but we haven't seen what exactly a double down on one specialization would bring. Maybe it wouldn't be a bad thing to double down, but I don't want to gamble on a monofocus.

Good catch!
An artifact of her having originally apparently double critfailed the severity of the foolhardy trait. Thankfully for you, I was accidentally using d2 instead of d20. I'll fix it up when I get back home

Just a reminder to folks planning for education:
Aseryah does have 4 younger brothers.
I'll stat them soon, and it should be fairly obvious that almost all of them will be schooled in religion...
Actually, since this does not even spoil anything:
Talasin - double celestial pantheon religion
Turgud - religion (general) and diplomacy
Torin - religion (celestial) and philosophy
Randor - military and history

Okay, in that case, instead of Governance and Military I'll switch Tessa to Governance and Law. I guess I'll also make it a plan.

Just thought I'd let people know who've participated in this quest in the past that a vote is going on.

OK thank you for the information, but:

While I personally appreciate your efforts, please do not multi-tag like that.
It is a practice that is discouraged and something that tends to annoy people.

next time tag me on my profile to not clutter the thread with summons. Also I'll take a look at the plans and then vote for something. Until then tally:

So I found both plans to be lacking in what I think we will need for the next turns as our little nation of Royals in Exile develops. My plan is as follows:

- Have Thalia whose name means to flourish/bloom in the term of comedy and pastoral poetry focus on Alchemy and Linguistics so that she can focus on decoding the Dwarf doors with her cousins the Architects. Maybe we get lucky and there is no Doom behind those doors.

- Have Anastacio whose name means "to stand up" in a resurrection context learn about botany, outdoorsmanship and survival so that he can focus on Horticulture and developing our food supplies for both civilian and military use. We need to develop a steady method of expanding both our food supply and our food supply lines when needed.

- Tessa means "to harvest" or "harvester" and we need to improve our Intrigue actions so that we are not just constantly sowing chaos in the Lands of the Old Empire. I don't know about you, but having an Intrigue specialist literally named the Reaper appeals to me and Edit: After I posted this it occurred to me that we need the synergy between Governance, Intrigue and Spywork to get the less chaotic and maybe better options for our Intrigue Network Actions instead of just doubling down on Intrigue and Spywork.

Also:

--[] Outdorsmanship and survival

It's "Outdoorsmanship" not "Outdorsmanship".

Wouldn't the the synergy be better between Alchemy and Botany than Alchemy and Linguistics? While Outdoorsmanship and Linguistics might synergyze if it means talking to the various tribes?

Sure if your goal is to have Horticulture improved even more and if you want to figure out the various languages and cultures on the Plateaus more easily. What I want is what I said: Better supply lines both for civilian and military projects by having someone who can magically understand what it takes to build such things and someone who will compliment our architecture/religion branch of the family in investigating the Door since where there are Dwarfs/Dwarves (or Dwarowi as is the case here) there are usually Runes.

OK went on a full turn bender before the war turns start and found a few errors and a question:

(Grand cathedral to Isanela built up; morale up; all attrition reduced; further religious actions unlocked; priesthood of the celestial pantheon strengthened)

"Grand Cathedral" not "Grand cathedral"

The matter was not helped by the death by treachery of the leadership core of the group trying to organize Shingh republic/hegemony.

"the Shingh republic/hegemony." not "Shingh republic/hegemony."

Quentin Fergaz was the very epitome of the old adage of even the best of trees baring rotten fruits.
In a thoroughly disgusting and torrid affair, he had tried to have his younger cousins killed or worse so he could claim the relic weapon.
The exact details are not too clear, but the end result of the entire awful incident was open fighting within the mansion, one of Christien's sisters dead and the lad, barely twelve at the time, taking the head of his traitorous kin with the very ax that was at the center of the entire tragedy.

Is it "baring rotten fruits." for the strange turn of phrase that illustrates the culture of this world? Or is it a type-o and it's supposed to be "bearing rotten fruits."?

"the very axe that was" not "the very ax that was"

Losing herself in trying to follow the complicated and highly technical explanation, at least to the point that she'd be reasonably confident enough to try the contraption with Randor, she spared a brief thought of thanks to the gods that it would be Thomases duty to figure out how to fight from the damn things.
Still, she was confident, both in herself and her husband that in a few years they'd be ready to receive the first intake of teenage aspirants to match up with maturing young bulls of her herd and turn them into effective and efficient assets upon the battlefield.
(Order of the Charging avalanche founded; +22 Knights (Heavy armor, formation-breakers, exceptional mobility, effective both at range and in melee))

"Thomas's duty" not "Thomases duty"

"Order of the Charging Avalanche" not "Order of the Charging avalanche"

So, when the holy Queen personally and publically delivered unto her her effusive gratitude over spearheading a successful effort to draw in the priesthood of the great goddess and her celestial court (done surreptitiously and carefully, of course, Sophia was no fool and understood perfectly what kind of disaster drawing the wrong kind of notice would be), Sophia felt fit to burst with a sense of pride and accomplishment. Even, miracle of miracles, The Lout gave her an earnest "good job".

"the Holy Queen" or "the holy queen" not "the holy Queen"

Is publically some archaic form of publicly? If not it's "publicly delivered" not "publically delivered"

Do not get her wrong, Anora was fairly devout adherent to The Starmother.

"Anora was a fairly devout" not "Anora was fairly devout"

If she was destined to be 'Child of the Storm' than it damn well would be under her own terms.

"destined to be this 'Child of the Storm' then" or "destined to be 'The Child of the Storm' then" not "destined to be 'Child of the Storm' than"

It says here that if a single child gets specialized education they get three specializations and if more children get specialized educations then it's only two specializations per child. Is this correct? Or did you mean there to be three specializations to choose this turn? Or are there still only two specializations per child?

Looks like QM changed the two specialization from two to three. Wasn't like that before... Probably a good idea to wait for QM confirmation before altering plans though.

Maybe QM rolled for blood and it hit above a certain mark for all Anora's kids so we can have more specializations?

the three specializations for a single kid is intentional, and it represents a gamble.
In quest, you can consider it to be giving that one kid extra attention/riding their education pretty hard.
Mind you, that does not mean others get neglected...
unless there are some pretty bad background rolls involved, but that goes without the need for this specific vote.
The point being, if you are feeling lucky, you could try going for extra impressive next character. You have 33% chance to get it right.
As for the difference between generalized and specific education as it pertains to the traits - generalized kids draw from wider, but also more generic pool.
