You rubbed your belly slightly… "I can't wait for you to be born."

"Boss, we have things that we need to do?" The Admiral said.

"Damn." You said.

-[X]Neighbors and Niceties: Oh so you need to see what Neighbors are around you given that you need to know how they see you…and your Rhetoric . Cost:1 AP. Chance of Success: 50% Success Needed: 1 Reward: Neighbors…they exist and must be something to manage in terms of relations…something about fences.
2 Diplomacy AP
Roll 1: D100 => 36
Roll 2: D100 => 97 Crit: D100 => 94=191

Ahh, the Situation at hand in terms of your Neighborhood…The many statelets who are not your vassal states or otherwise utterly tied into your economy.

The First one was the Osman Greater Caliphate, to your galactic North, led by Memed the Ninth, though in practice is ruled by his son Salim. Overall they've been Reliable and dutiful in terms of their agreements and trade obligations. They control 75 worlds and have in many ways have them in better shape than you.

Just Ignore the Sharia Law and the Mass Executions of certain political groups. Your kind of reliable allies.

The Domos Consort Guilds were…the Domos Guilds, all you really knew about them is that they are an assassin/Diplomatic guild that did a side hustle in Sex. Also they are weird about…everything. Good to Know.

The Antarian Pirate League, in the Galactic South, is what happens when you let the Pirates get powerful enough to form a state and be an issue…at least hiring them is cheap. They are ruled more or less by High Admiral of the Antarian Fleet, Chuck Vernon, the Scorge of Phe…and are annoying in their inability to get wiped out by pirate hunters.

Finally there was The Delphi States… in the Galactic East.

God where to begin with these idiots?

Only two of them Rhodan and Freemont were actually worth a damn societally, and militarily, and these fools were dumb enough to keep fighting eachother.

They were hot shit once…held off the Impirium's efforts to breach into the Perseus Arm…and they kept coasting off of it…kinda pathetic really…but you can't choose your Neighbors.
Reward: You know the Neighborhood…currently.

-[X]How many Eggs in the Basket: How many Planets DO you control anyway? Cost:1 AP. Chance of Success: 50% Success Needed: 1 Reward: Asset Report.
3 Free AP

So out of all your assets in terms of Planets…

In totality you own…and rule over 562 Assets of Note.

300 Planets.

200 Massive Stations and Operating Systems of the Highest Calibur.

30 Vassel states that have their own planets, asteroids and stations…but we lump them together into clusters for storage sake.

10 Grand Stations, Large Traveling Migrant Space stations primarily used as Tax Havens and Merchent Hubs.

And 22 Larger Trade Flotillas that are basically assets all to themselves.

While not EXACTLY your total assets, it is at least a picture.

Reward: You know your assets now.

-[X]The Coup of Desslan: So a Bishop is fighting a Merchant Prince about who is ruling the planet. Better decide who is right and deal with it, it is your backyard. Cost:1 AP. Chance of Success: 45% Success Needed: 1 Reward: Make a decision on what to do with the coup.

"Alright park the fleet in orbit, shoot both of their capitals to cut off the lines of leadership…and then send in the shock troops." You said.

"General?" The Officer said.

"I have no time to coddle bickers…"You said.

"Find a suitable replacement and threaten to seize the Prince's assets…after that call the Bishop and tell him that the war is in violation of their religious charter in the Hegemony." You said.

"But won't that piss them off?" He said.

"I'm sure it will, now do it." You said. "I'll be in the operations Room." You said.

It was a brief two-week work, once you went for the officers it was cake walk of proportions not seen since you were in basic.

"Ahh…Military Might is there anything it can't solve." You said.

Reward: You have destroyed Both Sides of the Rebellion and replaced the Bishop with a Puppet of your regime. The Church is Unhappy…but they can't do shit.

-[X]The Testlan Civil War: Ahh Civil War is in the Planet of Testlan, well, need to know the game in town…and intervene in a way that maintains your nation's stability. Cost:1 AP. Chance of Success: 45% Success Needed: 1 Reward: Choose your side…and deal with the situation.

You looked at the Tac Map and sighed. "This is a Clusterfuck of the Highest regard."

"What now?" the admiral said.

"Ite a god damned forge world of the Binary Cult…shit." You said. "I am going into a meatinder."

"Well, what do we have in terms of options?" He said.

"We can support the Binary Cult…the Order of Dolly, who want to make it a cloning center."You said.

You paused… "Or we can look for the society who originally owned the planet , The Order of the Lost Primarch?"

There was a moment of silence. "Anyone else?"

"Well there's also the Order of the Sun's Eternity…The War Order that throw people into Stars?" You said.

"These are decent Options…generally speaking." He said.

Reward: Your options are available…new actions available.

Tech Expedition Mini-Turn Part 1
Tech Expedition Mini-Turn Part 1

You looked at the Sundancer's Workstations and saw Ambrose eating a protein bar while moving her leg giddily on her chair.

"What's got you all up and about?" You said.

"Exotic Pre Interregnum TECH!! Really GOOD GOOD SHIT!!" She said, "I've been trying to chart a course to one of the stashes and I've been up for a whole day charting a path?"

Ohh...she was excited about this.

"What going on in your head Doc?" You asked.

"TECH TECH TECH from before the fall it out their CALLING TO US AND I HAVE TO FIND IT!" She screamed while jumping out of her chair.

"Calm down master of technophile...what are we looking at?" You said.

"I'm talking PAYDIRT! REAL GENUINE PAYDIRT! The kind of shit they play PLANETS FOR!" She said

Okay, now she was going mad.

"I think we need to-"

"Do you understand just how powerful a gauss scrubber is? Its just one of the things we could probably pick up, if I'm right. Do you know just how rare such a thing is? Just how-"

"Ummm, no.. Is it another superweapon? We can always use something like that."

"What? no, its a toothbrush! Do you understand just how clean your teeth will feel!"

You stopped and thought about it for a moment. "My teeth are fine thank you very much?"

She raised an eyebrow at that. "Well...shame...it goes for a bit on the Market and the Tech Hunters REALLY want to have it. They pay good money for the quality of life stuff."

"I'll keep that in mind...tell me something else I don't know?" You said.

"The Synth Skin's got inflatable boobs." She said.

"Something that I wouldn't have figured out myself?" You said.

She then pointed at your pregnant belly. "I can already tell this one's gonna be a handful."

When you just quirked your eyebrow at then, she plodded on, responding, "That child will be just like dear old mommy."

Quelling your immediate response that you weren't old, you began to think far back, before the military education, back when your parents had to deal with your shenanigan. You immediately chuckle as you remember that one time when you were five and you interrupted an important diplomatic meeting, where several planets had come to swear their vassalship, and had immediately called one of the diplomats "a dread pirate", before asking to see his peg leg and parrot.

Surely your child wouldn't be that bad. Right?

....No it would be worse and you'd love him/her regardless.

"Alright then...I'm just going with you and some of my guards?" You said.

"Darling...I have to let you know that these sorts of things are...shall we say rather dangerous for a woman in your condition...are you sure you want to do this?" She said.

You looked at her with a glare.

She then put a hand on your stomach. "I can already see some of the DNA being on file when its born...for science of course."

"And what would you want to do with it?" You said.

"Have some work done...Gene therapy is a difficult thing to get worked on keeping it stable...especially with a brain like mine." She said.

"Your not with one of those Genetic Purist Cults are you?" You said.

"No...why do you ask?" She said.

You frowned.

"Oh...well I'm not apologizing." She said.

"Do you have a route for us?" You asked.

"... I've got a few options"

(CHOOSE 1 Location!)

[] The Rotted Nebula: A strange place, which died even before the interregnum properly started. No one is quite sure what happened, but everyone agrees that everyone in the area quickly died, before whatever was there supposedly buggered off. Ships looking like they were eaten from the inside-out. Most of the population reduced to dust, with the rest being only the odd limb or head. Supposedly, whatever that caused this should have moved on from the area. Someone was able to recently explore the area, so the area should be safe... right?

Ambrose believes that there should be an abandoned vault of military tech on planet Ovenia in this nebula. It should be a relatively easy expedition, for a massive gain.

[] The Last Bastion: Supposedly set up as the last resort for humanity, this solitary station should have the tools to restart humanity. Admittedly, it is very old, and was old even when the interregnum happened.

This station should have some old genetic samples, and some basic tools to restart humanity. Unfortunately, after some research, it is obvious that this station was a bad plan from the start, only having some medical tools, and not even having the necessary food production to restart civilization.

Ambrose learned about this station after a chance 'check-in' message we were able to pick up. She is fairly sure no one else know about this station, and that there will be no surprises, but it really shouldn't contain much except some medical research

[] The Lost Ring World of Runesman's Bounty: Originally one of 35 Great Ringworlds Commissioned by the Old Pre-Interregnum Government as a symbol and a public works project to etch their might into the Stars. It was like the Dyson Spheres of Proxima Centauri...a TRIUMPH AND A SYMBOL of Power.

But it was lost in the Great Chaos of the Early Interregnum...Lost with only the Dead in the Void and its paradise features, Fields and Oceans. Its Power and its Technology are ripe for the taking.

That is if you can survive the Horror it's Master Created...For in every paradise there is a Monster to Guard it.

[] The Lost Scientists: The Research MegaFacility Myrmekes was supposed to be lost to a black hole, during the first of the interregnum years, but now that black hole has dissolved, and in its place, Myrmekes has appeared ... Three times as large, with an obvious farming superstructure now attached. You are even receiving messages from the newly appeared facility... in lost Pre-Interregnum codes...Who knows what has happened here, and who awaits you there.

Ambrose believes that there might be survivors and plenty of tech besides to loot. However, you can't help but remember your last tangle with a black hole, and your friend Az.

[] The Cowards defenders: Elran Hebnan is known as a coward all over the galaxy to this day. You remember the tale of his final retreat, and how his stepdaughter Elena Hebnan commanded his final few mini-corvettes to cover his retreat, personally leading the unit in their final defense.

Ambrose has recovered information that the ships were never really properly looted. She was able to find their actual location, and while much of the equipment must now be suffering heat damage, due to the wreck's proximity to the star, Michinman, you know of more than a few guns and vehicles which should still properly work, even when just 1.5 million miles away from the star's surface.

AN: Enjoy and Please Have FUN!

@Anon500 thank you! Its a great deal!

[X] The Lost Scientists

Would've picked Runesman's Bounty or The Rotted Nebula, but I'd rather wait till we're no longer pregnant before doing those.

What's the world of genetics like in this setting?
Lego depending on the Context.

The Human Genome was a playground for eccentrics. Eugenicists, Medical Companies, and the Like.

And that was before all the Radiation mutated a bunch of people enough to be considered a pseudo subspecies.

And that was before all the heavy Radiation weapons used in the Interregnum Damaged the Modern Human Genome alot.

Shit got wild...and DNA has been altered due to the Evolutionary Force of the Interegnum.

Yes the Interregnum was bad enough it was said in the same vain as Forces of Evolution!

How far out there did the mutations get? Like, are there ocean worlds filled with fish people of human descent? Furred humans on cold worlds? Humans adapted to living in a vacuum?

How far out there did the mutations get
Depends on the Area...

The Perseus Arm only got hit lightly by the standards of the Intergnum.

Now look to the Insanty and Carnage of the Inner Core's Dune Surfers, The Toxic Water Breathers of The Water Twins of the Freehold Gates (A Term for A Mass Cluster of Ocean Worlds past the Mid Rim)

Or the Near Inhuman MuckMen of Frys Firepit...you'll see why.
