Shapeless Phobos
Filthy Casual
I'm still interested. Been working on continuing some other things at the moment. Try to pick activity some.
Yes, i am.So, the game seem to in a bit of a roth right now, witch is understandable to some degree considering allot of peoples whent back to school this week, but it still has me and @Yanez reflecting on its future.
So, the questions is: are you still interest?
Do you think an hiatus to wait until less busy time could help?
Have you any other suggestions for the future of the game?
Is recruiting still open? I'm interested in joining.
For Nationality, are citizens of the subjects of the British Empire, such as the Dominion of Canada, South Africa, the British Raj and Hong Kong, accepted?
I just think that there should be more frequent events for people to participate in, for anyone who is available.
@Shapeless Phobos - I'll have a bit more time in 5 hours, shall respond to you then. I'm thinking that Hart & Hugh will be able to find a useful book for him, but more importantly, they establish themselves as friendly older figures?--------------
Alphard travelled to the library immediately after classes. Although Minerva had said she was not curious about her Ross relatives, Alphard was. And so he stood before the librarian's desk.
@Oh I am slain!
I just think that there should be more frequent events for people to participate in, for anyone who is available.
Hmm. How 'bout this: Maybe a bi-weekly (RL-time) event? Event automatically is over at the end of the two weeks, so it prevents the event from dragging on, too. Anyone who is free those two weeks is encouraged to participate. This guarantees that there's a new interesting focus for the RP every two RL weeks.
Possible bi-weekly events: Riots in Hogsmeade! A monthly duelling round-robin event in which each player must prepare a strategy against their opponent! A school-wide Halloween Masquerade Ball, everyone arrives in costumes! A mystery: a thief has begun to steal from Slytherins during the night! ^_^
Sounds good. Respond when you can.I'll have a bit more time in 5 hours, shall respond to you then. I'm thinking that Hart & Hugh will be able to find a useful book for him, but more importantly, they establish themselves as friendly older figures?

He learnt French, Mandarin and English from his parents, as well as Spanish from their hispanic neighbor. At the outbreak of the war, his father was engaged into military service and was shipped to the the Alsatian front in France. Desperate, his mother brought him with her to London in order to more regularly receive news of his father. A few years after settling in, Richard found a strange letter in the letterbox, one addressed to him...

I'm having difficulty choosing between Pine and Willow for the wood.
S'good? Or is there something I need to tweak?
Unfortunately, I must also deal with school...
Question so since the Quidditch tryouts are occurring should I get ready to get my new recruits.Sounds good the only small tidbits I have its that, by this point in the year, he would have been sortted dPerhaps you're intro post could be said sorting? They always are good inspiration and its a good way to flesh out his character. If you could find an image it would also be nice but it wouldn't be the end of the world if you don't find it. I'd need a decision on the wands too, of course
In addition, while its by no mean an obligation we encourage you to register at least two characters. If you don't have any inspiration but are willing to take on another character there is multiples possibilities: take a canon character we don't know much and flesh him or her out, take a character from one of the former players (I got Dovasith autorisation and you can ask Estro if one of her characters prove more intersting to you) or take an NPC who has already receive a bit of characterisation.
If you need any help for a second character or for anything else don't hesitate to PM me and or Yanez

Quick recap on the players I have since I can remember that I had two chasers and a seeker left over from last year with me filling in as a beater.Indeed Since you are the captain of Hufflepuff you're pretty much free to write the scene of their tryouts, as long as it keep into account what has already been said about the team of Hufflepuff.
The big unkown is the last job for a chasser: I assume you can find someone naturally talented among the peoples at the tryouts but logically, if you're other players haven't heard of them, he or she is gonna be very unexperienced.

Question about Cloudfield is he good at any other position cause I figure I am going to see if I can swap him around into something different.Cloudfield is your seeker, good but not excellent. McPherson is a very good chassers if not to tue stardom and Bullstrode is fine if nothing more.

Well then I hope my practice régime I wrote awhile back will help him anyway I am off to write the tryout. You could probably have him be a chasser but you'd be only changing you're problems from one position to another and he his probably more efficient where he his.

As you can tell I had a rough idea on the qualities of each position and made tests for each.

YayYep, and the answer is gonna be a big post so I have to think it through
Might be best if you choose a non-First Year if your other character is a First year as well. At least I think that's how everyone's been doing the whole doubling up thing.Does anyone here have a good idea for a first year that they can't use themselves, and wouldn't mind me borrowing it?

Yes, that was actually my first thought. For the first and second years they're is always the option to go with a younger brother or sister of somebody. Basically, as long as it don't contradict game or actual canons and you clear it with the player in question anything is possible in this chapter
